I think this is the best Mplayer frontend for KDE I've ever used. It's simple but very powerful and KDE-Compliant. It's a pity that its development is not so active...

Unfortunately, the only developer who worked on KPlayer is no longer working on it (I am not aquainted with him at all). And I have never really worked on KPlayer too. I've just fixed a few things and made 0.7.1 release which contained some fixes by random KDE contributors. But in practice, KPlayer does not have any developers. Sad but this is true.

Thank you so much for fixing that! I wrote a post in the forum of KPlayer in Sourceforge asking if it is still alive, 'cause I saw the author posted an entry on october, 2011. But nobody has answered already. Also, the development stats shows no activity from developers. You should write to the author and take ownership of KPlayer...
