Post to Twitter from KDE
this is just a mod to the script located (http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php/Twitter+Kdialog+script?content=56641)
INSTALL:
Save the script to a directory in your PATH. Edit the script and replace username:password with your twitter credentials.
Run this script from anywhere within KDE. Easiest is to right click on your desktop and choose "New » Shortcut to application", and then point it to the ktwitter.sh script.

But something has changed on Twitter API. You need now the option -H "Expect:" in the curl command like this :
curl -u ${1}:${2} -s -H "Expect:" -F status="`kdialog --inputbox 'What are you doing?' | iconv -t utf8`" http://twitter.com/statuses/update.xml
