You should try to install the X developpement package. The headers of X are missing. The name of the package should be X.org-dev or X11-dev or something similar.

thanks for the update. I did install the x development stuff and the problem I was having is now fixed. However I seem to have a different problem with compiling the same program. It seems like selinux is not enabled or configured correctly. It seems a bit criptic for a beginner like me. do you have any insight to selinux and the approiate security settings for installing kmymoney.

Well, this was the first time I complied and installed from source. Thanks to your clear instructions it went smoothly. It's a great app, too ! Thank you.

The apps are cool that are on the front page at the moment. But neither are screensavers that I can see.

Are people confusing KDE-Look with KDE-Apps????? I know they look similar but ones red and the other is blue? We'll the last time I checked ;-)

Hmm.
"Curiouser and curioser" said Alice.

I posted the above comment on KDE-Look and it ends up here?? Something odd is going on. Do the sites share the same database by any chance???

Please use the

10000 $ format instead of $10000.

This looks more -- clean.

I think that it would be good to use the l10n (localization) system of KDE.

Yes, you know. I am talking about that module in KControl which noone never uses ;)

Actually, if he's done this properly it'll work however you have currency set in your Country/Region & Language control tab.

Chucky's got it right - KBudget will use whatever KDE is set to use. I think it's one of the first KDE apps that actually uses money formatting, so maybe it isn't surprising that not everyone has it configured the way they want :)
