Description:

Tellico is a collection manager for keeping track of your books, bibliographies, videos, music, comic books, video games, coins, stamps, trading cards, wines, board games, or any custom items. It supports any number of user-defined fields, of several different types: text, paragraph, list, checkbox, year, URL, tables, images, dates, and combinations.

Tellico imports Bibtex, MODS, RIS, PDF, and CSV and exports to Bibtex, Bibtexml, CSV, and HTML. It offers grouping, view filtering, and searching. Tellico can also import data from Amazon.com and IMDb.com, along with z39.50 servers, CDDB data, audio files, SRU servers, several different websites, and from the Alexandria and GCstars applications.

Note that kde-apps.org is not a support forum. Please sent comments, questions, or bug reports to the Tellico mailing list or the Tellico forum.

The moc file should be created automatically. Have you tried rerunning configure? If that fails, you can create it manually:

/usr/lib/qt3/bin/moc -o datewidget.moc datewidget.h

from inside the src/gui/ directory.

(Change the moc command line to whereever qt is installed for you...)

configure finds moc.
when I reran make I had the same error for tabcontrol.moc, kwidgetlister.moc,listview.moc, then I stopped.

the moc process is not working on my machine for some reason

Can someone please create a .deb package for tellico 1.0.3? The newer package installs tellico_0.13.3 and it would be very cool to use tellico 1.0.3 with all this new stuff and a compelte italian translation.

This is just what I was looking for.
A very impressive program.
I've just got to figure out how to properly import from a spreadsheet.

Hi,
the appliaction is great, and I would like to use it with italian websites such as
IBS or www.bol.it.
Any plan for this? Could I help?

No plan, no. You're welcome to contribute. You can either code an external script that searches the website and returns Tellico XML or code an internal class, which would be more difficult.

Email me and I can give you more details.

I'll also add those websites to a list, and perhaps I can take a look at them myself sometime.

These libtool problems seems to be coming up more frequently. All I can tell you is that I think it's a packaging problem. Libtool is black magic to me, and you may need to edit some .la files to remove references to non-existant ones, that's all I know...

I totally agree, this is a great piece of software. Thank you for this gem of a contribution.

Just too add my two cents.

1. How about pulling down imdb ratings. If personal rating must be out of 5 stars how about being able to do half a star or 3 and half, for example.( Maybe changing it to out of 10?)

2. Putting "Plot summary" and "features" after General tab.

3. Can we get a few more media selections for movie lists, like divx3/4, xvid, OGG etc.

4. Maybe in a later date seeing support for ebay auctions.

alomost forgot, when double clicking on the "cover view" of movies maybe loading the details page instead of bringing up the "edit entry" view.

1. How about pulling down imdb ratings.

Sure, I can look into that.

2. Putting "Plot summary" and "features" after General tab.

Just move those fields ahead of the others in the fields editor. The ordering is taken from there.

3. Can we get a few more media selections for movie lists, like divx3/4, xvid, OGG etc.

You can open up the fields editor and add them youself. Everything about the field is customizable.

4. Maybe in a later date seeing support for ebay auctions.

For tracking auctions? I'm not sure what you mean here.

Yeah, that works fine for me when changing the position within the edit entry view. But the "Detailed view" which is formated via the templates stays the same.

am i doing something wrong?

Small, simple, easy-to-use database app (well, very near to a database), that in certain respects performs like the big boys.

It can manage virtually ANY collection - people, too.

Thanks for all your hard work!
