In KDE 4.2.3 (also in 4.2.2), Arch Linux, when you use the Appearance section of System Settings to change the theme, changing "Select style" is the only thing that lets you Apply. Checking and unchecking the KDE colors option or changing the icons does not un-gray the Apply button, so you have to change the style and back again.

Thanks :)

This is a line I took from /usr/lib/kde4/share/autostart/gtk-kde4.desktop

Exec=if test -e /home/apocalypse/.kde/share/config/gk4lock; then kstart --iconify gtk-kde4; fi

But I think /home/apocalypse is your home, not mine! :P

Ok, so I got bored with gnome-system-settings very fast! :)
I can't build your package on Jaunty and I don't want to copy the files manually. Here's the cmake output:

Is it possible to load GTK theme earlier?
Now the theme doesn't apply to applications from saved session and they look ugly.

this is indeed very nice application, but could you add an option for choosing icon theme as well? there is no compatible/good looking replacement for oxygen icon theme, but theres for example hidroxygen.

This is a good point. I'm going to stick with gnome-settings-daemon unless gtk-qt-engine or gtk-kde4 will be able to fully replace it.

Hello, i have kde4 installed via svn in /opt/kde4 and i have installed your program. On kde4 everything is ok, but when i switch in gnome i can only use the theme i've selected in kde4 for the gnome-apps. I'm sorry if i'm not clear, but i am italian. So everytime i want to change my GNOME theme i have to go in kde4 and change the theme in your app, wich is pretty absurd...Obviously i use the same user for gnome and kde4 (which, i know, is not completely right). What do you think about it? Where am i wrong? Maybe there's a gnome config file that i have to edit...I don't know...Thank you very much

Any way of fixing the gray text boxes? And the bottom scroll bar is out of alignment and has a hole in it (everywhere except the ends). Other than that, its great, except: is there any way for the menu corners not to look chewed? That last one is just being picky, but the gray text boxes is a real problem. Sure looks better than the gtk default (win95 like) look.

Hey! First off; great program, works so much better than the default qt-gtk-engine for KDE4 in Kubuntu.

Anyway, I encountered this bug using KDE 4.2 Beta 2 and and Mplayer plugin at full screen. Here's a screencap:

http://www.andontie.net/gtk-kde4.jpeg

The area around the video should be black, as it usually is without the Qt-KDE4 running.

Also, a package for the most recent version for Intrepid would be awesome, since I'm using the beta package from the Inprepid repos right now.

and the border of those menus are quite deformed according to the size of the menu

As i see people sometimes don't understand some things in this app. I want to explain:
1. gtk-engines-pixmap:
When it was version 0.6 some users was unable to make app working. And they found necessary to install pixmap engine for gtk+ themes. They advised me to include gtk-engines-pixmap && gtk-engines-pixbuf in dependencies. And i did. But now i don't really know is it necessary for fine work or not(i know that in Ubuntu this package is unnecessary). If I'll know full info I will left or erase this dependency.
2. Checkbox "Apply KDE colors to GTK apps":
This checkbox would become Disabled if you choose "Current KDE style".It occurs, because style without colors would be ugly, am i right? In earlier versions checkbox became disabled and checked, but know I unable to do that, because of my curved hands. :)

Now i want to say: "Questions and Suggestions are welcome", So, if you have some, ask me here without fear. :)

Thanks for your app. It works really well with firefox, but openoffice and gimp don't seem to be affected by it. Also, the compilation fails on opensuse. Nothing seems to happen when I run make. But the binaries work.
