Shouldn’t Cantata be able to play .dsf and .dff audio files? These are the file-extensions for high-resolution DSD-audio files. Right now I can successfully play .dsf/.dff files in three other mpd clients — GMPC, Glurp and mpc — but not in Cantata. (It plays the file, but only at the lower sampling rates of 44100 or 48000). I’m using ALSA and have Pulseaudio turned off. ReplayGain is off. I’m running Cantata 1.5.2 on Ubuntu-MATE 14.04 LTS. Do I need a Cantata plugin for this or something? Does anyone know why Cantata seems not to be able to accommodate these formats while other clients can?
