I found out, that I am lost with googles memory, which I will have to clean up first.

gmailsniffer displays the XML-file correctly. Sorry for the noise. - Jun 16 2013
Today in the morning I have compiled git-version 0cd7d39 and this version is running since that time. So, the whole day gmailsniffer tells me, that I have 20 unread mails in my account, when I am hovering over the systray icon.

When I select "Show sniffer" the windows displays 20 messages, always the first one is marked with a red envelope, the others are marked with a blue envelope.

When I check the emails with claws-mail, I have 12 unread mails, if I go to gmails web-inbox I find 9 unread conversations.
Why will gmailsniffer display 20 unread mails? - Jun 16 2013
As I saw, you are retrieving the information about new mails via https (https://mail.google.com/mail/feed/atom/unread).

I will have to enter the user credentials (user anme + password) once in the settings dialog. Where are the they stored?

If I select "show sniffer" a notification area will be opened, that displays all unread mails. Clicking on an entry will open the default browser and I will have to enter my user credentials again. Will it be possible to parse them from gmail sniffer to the browser to access gmails inbox directly? - Jun 16 2013

Great piece of software!

Do you have an idea, why the entries for sdd are appearing twice in the list?

Compilation failed for me, so I thought, some missing files were the reason. But I had to install libnet-devel and libpcap-devel. Now I succeeded. Great program, thank you! - Mar 18 2013

Is it possible, that you have switched some functions to use/ support gtk3?

I have found this on the gtk developers page:

Warning
gtk_combo_box_get_active_text has been deprecated since version 2.24 and should not be used in newly-written code. If you used this with a GtkComboBox constructed with gtk_combo_box_new_text() then you should now use GtkComboBoxText and gtk_combo_box_text_get_active_text() instead. Or if you used this with a GtkComboBoxEntry then you should now use GtkComboBox with "has-entry" as TRUE and use gtk_entry_get_text (GTK_ENTRY (gtk_bin_get_child (GTK_BIN (combobox))). - Oct 22 2011

It should be
- Do a right click on http://webrender.99k.org

instead of

Thanks. - Jun 23 2011
Hello,

thank for updating webrender!

How do I open a link in website in a new tab?
Example:
- Open this link http://qt-apps.org/content/show.php/WebRender?content=140450
- Do a right click on http://qt-apps.org/content/show.php/WebRender?content=140450
- webrender offers "Open Link" and "Open in New Window"
- "Open Link" supposed to open link in same tab
- "Open in New Windows" supposed to open link in new window

Currently both options even do not work for me, nothing happens when clicking on these commands

In a terminal window I see following messages:

Currently there are many lightweight browsers in the web, but webrender is very fast and usable. Even private browsing is supported.
One thing I miss is tabbed browsing. Will you add this in the future? - Apr 02 2011

Thank you for your reply. I guess this error is related to my compiler / system. I switched to gcc-4.1 and now the error described above does not appear anymore. Now I have a new one:
