Description:

I was asked if I could do a wood theme as per this link in the forums:
http://gnome-look.org/comments/discussion.php?id=3&forumpage=5#c268990
so here it is, this is just the prelim work that I knocked up on sunday afternoon and is far from finished (no scroll bars icons etc) so please constructive comments only! "it sucks!" doesn't really help!
more to follow when I get the time.

Now includes xfce4 window manager content

Finally got around to adding some application icons supplied by Antonio J. Botello - Thanks.

There's an Emerald theme called "Oaks" you might want to look at that I can recommend.

This is a metacity theme for gnome i dont use xfce and wouldn't have clue how to go about doing one but by all means convert it to run on xfce all the textures etc that u should need are in ~/.themes/WoodTheme/metacity-1

I have to admit that I was hoping for something a little more modern, subtle and refined - a bit more polished. I was thinking of something along these lines:

http://img372.imageshack.us/img372/7209/bamboosk4.jpg

Things just work in that mockup. One element doesn't try to outshine another, and things flow really well.

Don't get me wrong though - I really appreciate the effort. It just wasn't what I was hoping for.

I find that mockup a little bland but it's early days yet.

I've been looking for a theme like this for some time, that uses a wood background but with lighter colors. I LOVE IT! :-)
