your skills are way better than mines. It would be good to see a 1920x1200 resolution or higher as well. Most monitors are way high res now a days.

This is a good effort, I like the colors and some of the shading. It's good!

I forgot to mention that you must be running a resolution different than what your monitor supports. the ratio done on the wallpaper looks as if you did it for a 4:3 but on a 5:4 which creates circles into ovals.
