MurrineGlow
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work): Add the source-code for this project on opencode.net
This is a port of the ClearGlow theme to the SVN version of the Murrine engine. MurrineGlow is totally done in Murrine, except for the tabs, which are based on Clearlooks Gummy.
It is available in 6 colors: blue, green, orange, red, pink and gray.
If you don't have the Murrine SVN engine installed, you can grab the snapshot and compile it yourself using the following commands:
svn checkout http://svn.gnome.org/svn/murrine/trunk/ murrine
cd murrine
./autogen.sh --enable-animation
make
sudo make install
Or, if you are using Ubuntu like I am, you can install any of the existing pre-packaged .debs available in some repos, or even those that Perfectska compiled.
I believe there might be some Murrine SVN packages for other distros, but I'm not aware of further details about it.
MurrineGlow will NOT work at all if you don't have the SVN version of Murrine installed.
The package I'm providing includes the GTK themes and the Metacity theme already used by ClearGlow, along with the necessary index.theme files for an easy utilization of the theme.
On the screenshots, I'm using the Calibri font, bold weight, size 8. The icon set displayed is Eikon, a personal collection of icons from many different sources I've been building since I started using Linux.
To get the most recent updates to Eikon, now on its second generation, please check this website: http://drop.io/fmrbpensador

Are you noticing those issues you mentioned everywhere? Or just in some particular places (like, only on menus, only on Nautilus windows, etc.) I'll be reviewing the names of the icons and trying to find a solution.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
Thanks for your message, it's my pleasure to try to help and give something useful to the community.

Any way to use the ClearGlow scrollbar though? I really like how compact those things are. I'm not asking to put that in the next version, just wondering what I'd do in the gtkrc to make it happen.

In order to use ClearGlow's thinner scrollbars, please follow me in these instructions:
Change:
GtkRange::trough-border = 3
to:
GtkRange::trough-border = 0
and:
GtkRange::stepper-size = 10
to:
GtkRange::stepper-size = 1
I hope I helped.
Please let me know if you have any further questions and/or issues. Thanks for passing by!

If enabling RGBA rendering is required by many users, it might eventually be a default feature in MurrineGlow. I'd rather see some improvements on how RGBA is implemented on Murrine before doing that. Just that.
