Settings Yakuake: Ctrl+y, Hide-Show Yakuake: Menu & etc ...
And after applying all the changes again choose TabsOnly or any.

Open $KDEHOME/share/config/yakuakerc (whre
$KDEHOME is $HOME/.kde or $HOME/.kde4 depending on
your Linux distro) in a text editor and remove the
line specifying the skin.
It worked for me, but make sure yakuake isn't running when you try it.

Worked great. Once I added a shortcut to the settings I reapplied the skin and now I have easy access to configuration.
