Glad you are interested, but this is just a sketch not a tool or app.

Look what permafrost91 said, we'll have to wait until OO 3 for a new user interface.

The one thing I choose OO over MS Office was the interface...sure it is pretty and has a lot of eye-candy. But for power-users like me, it is a waste of space.
I used to know where things were, but now...

That is the cost of change. Learning again the UI.

Good UIs support customization and settings for advanced users.

I really like the style of „MS Office 2007“ and in my opinion it would be great if open-office gets a new style. But it will never gets the same style like ms office because even if the ms design is more productive the persuaded Linux user would not use it just because it is inspirited by ms.
