This is nice!
Good work. I really like it, especially
the gray color. This is my taste. It seems it isn't for some others tho...
Thank again

You thought he could have done a better job and you told him how you thought he could have improved it. Did you notice that in some of his other work, this one included, people have said they like it. Don't just assume that because you don't like it no one else does.
I haven't been a fan of other stuff this person has posted in the recent past, just wasn't my style, but I don't mind this attempt. I'm not going to be using it, but I can see some people are going to like it.
Secondly, it is pretty damn low to knock someone for their contribution if they have done nothing wrong. Worse still is taking a jibe at someone who is contributing (246 uploads so far), telling them their stuff is crap, when you yourself have contributed nothing to kde-look.

I think this piece of work is considerably better than what this person has posted in the recent past. So I do think he has honoured the suggestions.
Think about it.

However, I've noticed that you name your tar archive with ".tar.gz" but the "gz" shouldn't be there because you're actually not compressing the archive at all. Thus this make my Splashman program to fail its installation. ;-)
Are you willing to (re-)name your archives the correct way ( as ".tar" instead of "tar.gz") if they aren't compressed ?
(hint:" tar zcvf yourpacakge.tar.gz")
...And on second thought you made me thinking about a better way to handle scplash-screens archives through Splashman program ;-)
Nice work again!
