I'm running Xgl with compiz followed by KDE 3.5.1. I'm using the paticular compiz
plugin is the 'cube' with 6 sides.

Mplayer is playing a movie, around a corner. Xmms is up for show. The background is animated. Really just an xscreensaver glmatrix (in background ) using winwrap. It's new day, and a new way.

start run dialog. And ALT + F1 starts Kmenu and this shortcut doesn't work on KDE XGL too.

No neither off those are working, I hav't really done anything with the keyboard, (like recommended on the Gentoo Xgl wiki that might help?

But I always have a console up (even if not testing alpha ware.

Are you running kde-3.5.1 or 3.5.2 or ?

I guess I'll have to upgrade though am really looking forward to kde-4.0
