Ditto the above ... if it is not multi lingual is it possible to point this out, and save us the drama and risk of installing it.

http://www.facturalux.org/comunidad/modules.php?op=modload&name=infosial&file=index&webDir=trad

It seems to be translated into German and French, besides Spanish. If anyone with either of the language skills could do a cross-translation into Engilsh, it would be translated into more languages.

There is a web based application named Lx-Office ERP (www.lx-office.org) which is a fork of SQL-Ledger. Maybe you can use one of those as backend and just write a QT/KDE-Frontend. The developers of lx-office ERP are friendly and if you're interested, I'm sure they'll give you all the informations you need...

an ERP is a real complex application, with a lot of expertise in businnes processes needed. You could join the GNU Enterprise project to make it happen:

Gnue doesn't seem that will really happen anyway. Even PAPO project decided to abandon it and look for a different framework.
While C++ isn't IMO the right language for this kind of project, is good these guys and other groups make their own way.

C++ is used to develop the "kernel", to build the modules QSA Script and XML.
