There is already ksshaskpass (http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=50971). Does this app have anything that ksshaskpass doesn't?

Use ksshaskpass if it suits you better.

My program does not bother you with a gui and it is so short that anyone can check that it does not anything malicious.

Got me beat, documentation does not correspond to what the manager app presents me, so I cannot figure out how to manage apps with it in any sophisticated way, just seems to be an all or nothing approach... What if an app, for example, needs access to a password during boot up phase before a user has a chance to enter a password to open a wallet? What guarantees a unified approach to using the wallet? Firefox, for example has no clue and has its own internal mechanisms for managing passwords.. This seems like a very ad-hoc tool that just adds a great deal of confusion to using apps under Linux.

Sweet! I've been waiting for something like this forever. Works perfect (openSUSE 10.2)! Thanks!
