Description:

Force Firefox to use Kio as default download manager.

To use:
- Install flashgot
- copy script somewhere
- Configure this script as a new download manager in flashgot
- Make flashgot get all downloads

Nice idea... I would suggest mentioning in the installation instructions that FlashGot is a Firefox extension (at first I was confused about that), and that you have to configure FlashGot to "intercept all downloads" to get the desired effect.

Are there any advantages using this approach instead of OpenSUSE's http://en.opensuse.org/KDE/FirefoxIntegration?

Aha, I thought that if I see a KDE file dialog, KIO will be used too. Oh well :)
