KKBSwitch is a keyboard layout indicator for KDE 2 or 3. It is useful when you have configured the XKeyboard extension of your X Server to have more than one keyboard group (layout), for example US/ASCII and Russian. KKBSwitch displays an icon in the system tray that indicates which layout is currently active. Note that KKBSwitch does not help you configure XKeyboard, it merely serves as the indicator of the current layout. You still have to configure XKeyboard by editing the XF86Config file.

This maintenance release adds Czech translation contributed by Michal Bukovsky and Bulgarian translation contributed by Petko Yotov. Also the algorithm for guessing layout icons was improved a little and now must guess the correct icon in more situations.

When tray panel is placed vertically and has "small" size, country flag icon is aligned to the left side while other tray icons are aligned to the center of panel. You can see an example of such align on the ss16.png screen shoot posted above.
Is it possibly to align flag icon to the center of tray panel ? :)

Thanks to the authors, this is very nice software and runs great with NetBSD/KDE :)

And in comparison to xxkb it's a native KDE app.
Willing to commit it into pkgsrc.

But may I ask, what is the nice-looking app in the top-right corner of your screenshot?

That's wmaker's dock apps running in KDE's dockapps panel. From left to right:
wmcpuload
wmmemmon
wminet
wmfire
The last one is just a classical "fire" demo running in docapp window. Fire can be displayed in blue and red colors. I have a guessing that fire's intensity has some relations with CPU load but the alg isn't linear :)
wmfier app's homepage is located at http://staff.xmms.org/zinx/misc/

But the little problem with this configuration:
/etc/X11/XF86Config:
Option "XkbLayout" "us+inet(acpi),ru"
I can't change flag icon for "ACPI Standart" layout
And i cannot send email to europe.com :)
