0.2.2
*really* fixed the kicker option now. It would appear that the ~/.kde/share/autostart does not overlay the $KDEDIR/share/autostart entries in that if you don't set a var in your local copy ... its not set period. So panel.desktop no Exec= ? guess what doesn't start? =)
Sorry about this one guys. should have tested better.
0.2.1
Fixed default for kicker option NOTE: this only affects the users who have never ran 0.2
Anyone who is having problems with kicker not running on startup needs to enable it in tweak or delete the entry found in ~/.kde/share/autostart
0.2
Add option to disable kicker on KDE startup
Added Missing Icon sizes
Added option to disable Access Keys
Added option to disable shutdown/reboot in logout dialog
Reorganized the UI
Fixed bug where Disabling Archive expanding in the sidebar wasn't working

Since I hav installed this app and I have done an "apply", I have just 4 options on the logout window :
disconnect, sleep, reboot, halt.
Before, I had some others options like "change user".
How can I go back to initial options ?
I've tried to uninstall the app but it changes nothing.
Thank you !

I installed tweaK after compiling it on a Debian system. The app comes up but after restarting KDE, kicker is gone and so is everything on the desktop.
I used a test account for this so I did not lose any important configs :)

And just confirmed with Aaron. Guess what I need to do is have tweak delete the .desktop if the user wants the panel to start. makes me wonder why I never noticed this when testing....

Open up ~/.kde/share/autostart in Konqueror and create a link to an application ("Edit" > "Create New" > "Link to Application"). A dialog box will appear.
In the "General" tab, type in "kicker" (without quotes, of course) as the name of the application link. Next, select the "Application" tab. Type "kicker" into the "Name" and "Command" text fields. When you are done, click the "OK" button, and you will have a link to the Kicker in your autostart folder.
Test this by logging out and in again. It has worked so far for me, and it sure beats having to manually invoke kicker.

I deleted the file in ~/.kde/share/autostart.

Bad results:
Kicker does not start anymore at kde-startup (but I can start it manually). I don't know why. The kicker-config-files are not responsible for that. Where do I have to search?
Another problem: tweak changed the settings for kdm: in the shutdown-dialog I had not the right anymore to shutdown. Autologin in kdm also did not work anymore. I had to reconfigure it.
I have kde-3.5.6 on opensuse-10.1

I've fixed the kicker issue. But I can't seem to figure out how your shutdown option got disabled unless you unchecked it.
As for autologin tweak doesn't touch that at all. In fact kdmrc is *never* touched at all.

To fix your kicker problem enable it in tweak or delete the entry found in ~/.kde/share/autostart
As for your userlist in KDM, tweaK doesn't touch that. In fact I don't even know how to enable or disable it! and for the 2nd time tweaK never touches kdmrc (the KDM config file)
Are you refearing to the userlist in KDM Themes or the standard dialog(Not themed)? If you don't know for sure if your KDM is themed or not, ask in your distribution's channel how you change this, or you can use kdmtheme which gives you a dialog to configure which theme KDM uses or you can prevent KDM from being themed. http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php/KDM+Theme+Manager?content=22120
If your using a KDM Theme and your list doesn't exist your theme may not support a userlist.
Either way check your KDM settings in kcontrol -> System Administration -> Login Manager
Perhaps you've got something misconfigured in the Users tab.
For any questions you might try asking on IRC in your distribution's channel Or in your distribution's Forum

Also approached editing konqsidebar.rc manually.
Is this setting limited to special versions of KDE? (3.5.6/SuSE here)
And yes, i did restart KDE.

"ShowArchivesAsFolders=false" now appears in my konqsidebartng.rc file AND the best part is that Archives do not show up in the sidebar any more as Folders.
Thank you very much!

Seems that an entry in the section "General", which is being created by the tewak applet, is being completely ignored.
One has to put it in the top of the file outside of any section.
