Description:

After starting this tool, it will go into daemon mode and starts to kill randomly random processes...
This will give you real-windows-feeling!

To compile: make
To start: ./win
To stop: kill `pidof windows`

Sorry, but i had to do this, when i saw Luna-Themes and Windows-like menues for KDE or thinks like that... -.-

If you have random crashes on Windows and you cannot resolve those issues, then you must be an idiot.

With all the amateur code and distro specific apps on this site, few apps on this site work right. And you have the nerve to complain about Windows?

Get serious. I'm not Windows fan but there is a reason why 99% of the world is using it.

Grandma and Grandpa are never going to be able to use Linux.

Time to grow up people.

Grandma and Grandpa are on their way out, if not already.

We are growing up. Embrace the future.

In fact, it helps Windows users switching to Unix.

Still missing: a random GRUB / LILO component which makes the system boot into a blue screen the next time.

I'd love this tool if I were new to Unix.

You fools,
Microsoft Windows ain't so bad
or is it?
Everyone says that is bad, because of number of virus and other stuff, who is damaging system, i am runing XP for 2 months, and saw the crashes only twice, so what's the problem?
Maybe it is in user?

Thats still alot of crashing, and it will get worse after time as your system registry gets clogged with crap and every useless file imaginable becomes a protected system file depended on by every other aspect of windows, and to those who say this is a waste of time remember, its his time to waste, looks like he had fun doing it too.

...the messages should be more sarcastic, like "You've been running for 12 hours, Microsoft cannot allow this" or "do you want me to shut down or just lose the document you've been working on?"

I hate Windows and everything it stands for but in all honesty, when I ran 2003 Server, I didnt see one of those boxes. I actually never had it crash on me save two BSODs...

I dont know what the story is with other people and their PCs but random crashes arent a common thing around my PC. This is just a waste of time that could be put into making KDE better. I guess I am not that much of a geek to find this amusing...

There is a little typing mistake in the "wanna send home" window : 'might' is spelled as 'migth'.

Funny work :)

I was wandering... Did you do any work on other Linux apps that crash\are unstable?

To be real Windows-like, the program should also spawn annoying popups from the system tray (at least when emulating > Win ME).

You could get bonus points by popping up spyware sites randomly as well. ;)
