I saw that there was 1.1 and 1.2 branches in git but they are not released.
Is there any plans to make new release soon?

I'm not advertising midori web browser of xfce4 desktop environment.
I just wonder, why can't kwebkit, rekonq, arora, could not achieve what libwebkit achieved already - java applet, extensions, netscape pluguins (nsplugins), etc...?
is QT 4.6 responsible here or the libwebkit guys have done a good job???
