Happydigger is used to catalog archaeological finds. It is intended both for semi-professional use and by amateurs (e.g. metal detectorists) who want to keep track of their finds. Data is stored into a database with extensive find and findspot details. If images are available, they will be displayed together with the find information. You need the gtk+-2.0 and sqlite development libraries and headers to compile happydigger. Current version is 1.2, which is a bugfix release. You can find the source code, together with the rpm files (which might or might not work for your distribution) here. The user interface is available in english, dutch and french.
