pyglplot is an interactive 3D plotting and visualization tool written as a Python module that uses OpenGL and the GIMP Toolkit (GTK+). Features include: plotting of python functions, plotting of python dictionaries containing the coordinates of the points and their position in the grid, plotting plain datafiles as understood for example by gnuplot. Coloring of surface like "pm3d", coordinate transformations, wireframe plots, translucent surfaces, dynamic lighting, perspecive or orthogonal projection, save image as png.
This program is developed and tested on Debian GNU/Linux on i386 and Mac OS X/Darwin with fink packages on powerpc. It should compile and run everywhere where its prerequisites and requisites thereof are available.
