Alu-Night
This is the a dark, but easy-to-the-eyes theme with dark aluminium headerbars and traditional title-buttons. Especially suited for working in a dark environment.
This theme has GTK2 and 4K-support.
It has all the benefits of my Gnome-Prof-theme (better scaling and better font-rendering)
2 versions available:
- Alu-Night-Straight with a matching gnome-shell theme.
- Alu-Night-Straight-XFCE, a version with support for XFCE.
Also available is a Code-color-scheme for Gedit that matches the theme.
How to install:
Just copy the extracted file to a '.themes'-folder you make in your home directory, or better copy to /usr/share/themes for system-wide use.
Then use Tweak-tool to select the GTK.
In XFCE use Appearance and Window-manager to apply the theme.
LOG OUT AND BACK IN for changes to take effect !
Alu-Night.xml is selected in Gedit > preferences > font & colors: this is where you can add the xml-file.

That's great "Alu-Night" & thanks you for that but I have 2 requests.
1 - Can you round the corners of the window title bar like "Cameo-Alu-Dark-Traditional (gtk3)" please ? For XFCE xfwm4 gtk2 & gtk3.
2 - In XFCE, the background of the window remains white in "synaptic".
Thanks.

I have a question, what code theme are you using in Gedit?
looks great with those chromatic colours of the theme.

You created a cool color scheme, you should try it in code editors like VSCode or Atom, I'm sure this color scheme would like a lot, it's great.
