Hello. I have installed the widget but it gets stuck saying "Checking for new messages" and I even cannot setup my email and password, only refresh rate. See screenshot http://storage2.static.itmages.com/i/17/1118/h_1511010477_3152230_49e27b8dba.png

Hello, do you have KWallet running?

Report

Yes, I have.

KWallet (kwalletd5) should ask for your login and password then. I don't know why it doesn't. If you know how you can also use the kaccounts branch (https://github.com/anthon38/gmailfeed/tree/kaccounts), which lets you configure an online account in the system settings.

Hi! I try install it, but i receive the next error message:

CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:8 (find_package):
Could not find a package configuration file provided by "ECM" (requested
version 0.0.11) with any of the following names:
ECMConfig.cmake
ecm-config.cmake
Add the installation prefix of "ECM" to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH or set "ECM_DIR"
to a directory containing one of the above files. If "ECM" provides a
separate development package or SDK, be sure it has been installed.

Any help?

As the error says, you need to install the Extra Cmake Modules. The name of the package depends on your distribution.

You need to install qtdeclarative5-dev.
When you encounter an error like this, just google the name of the missing file (in this case Qt5QuickConfig.cmake) + ubuntu, usually the result from packages.ubuntu.com tells you the name of the package you need

Try to clean the build directory and then rerun cmake and make again. If it doesn't work I suggest you ask on the forum of your distribution.
