sorry for the delay. Backtrace posted:

Could you explain in more detail what else you need? - Dec 18 2014
I can go into plugins and add the c++ helper, no prob. The plugin then appears in the settings menu. When I try to click on it in settings it crashes Kate. Every time. Any idea why? I'm running this on Funtoo if it makes any difference. - Dec 15 2014

I keep trying this browser with every upgrade. I like it and I want it to work. I really do. But it's been what, two years now? It still crashes all the time. On the same stuff. Are these bugs going to be fixed anytime in the near future, or should I just give up and stick with FF? - Sep 11 2012

I put content, either pasted or typed into the text box, click the little "ABC" button... and nothing happens. Shouldn't it underline mispelled words in red or something? I've tried this on both Arch and Chakra. - Feb 17 2011

One other small thing; I can't figure out the syntax to cahnge the size of the display. I want to make it wider and a little bit taller. - Feb 13 2011
Okay, I got it working. The problem had more to do with my very mediocre scripting skills than anything else. I really like this widget; great job! - Feb 13 2011
Okay, fixed this one; it stemmed from an imperfect understanding of the script syntax. - Feb 13 2011
Okay, another problem, one that's a showstopper unless you've got a solution. Reparsing the script, or logging into a session, causes plasma crashes. The screen goes completely black. i'm running KDE 4.6 on Arch. - Feb 12 2011
Hi, I just installed yast-scripted and it looks great! I'm using the systemmonitor_by_patkoscsaba.script script with a few slight modifications. Only problem I have is that my CPU temps are not showing up; there's no error messages, but no values appear in the appropriate places, either. I'm running an AMD Athalon II X2 245 processor. Is there something I can do to the script that'll make my CPU temps display? - Feb 12 2011

I'll do that, but I imagine I need to thoroughly remove the existing version. How can I be sure I've done that? - Feb 07 2010
Thanks, I got it installed. But I've got another interesting problem:

When I ask it to search for my city location it locks up my desktop while it's doing it. I can still click on the YAWP stuff (fortunately) and shut it off, but while the search is going on I can't access anything else. Worse, the search goes on forever; I don't think it's finding any locations. So it's installed, but not working yet. I want this applet; I had it breifly ona Mandriva install and liked it a lot. Unfortunately it's not in the Debian repos. - Feb 03 2010
When i try to install I get the following error:

CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake-2.8/Modules/FindKDE4.cmake:98 (MESSAGE):
ERROR: cmake/modules/FindKDE4Internal.cmake not found in
Call Stack (most recent call first):

I did eventually get it working. Is there any way I can configure this thing so that it will automatically open media with the application of my choice? - Dec 06 2009
I'm not very experienced with the bash shell and have never compiled software in my life. I've tried executing your instructions but I can't even find ./build much less change to it (the folder in which the file downloads and extracts to shows up in the file browser under the /tmp directory but it does NOT show u when I execute ls -l in bash, therefore I can't change to the directory because bash insists it isn't there).Could you break it down a bit more for the less technically inclined? I'm running Mandriva 2010 if that makes any difference. - Nov 27 2009
