Aurora Gtk Engine (Fedora RPMs)

GTK2 Themes by gracca 10 comments

I appreciate your work.

I did install all the other engines with no problem, but this one I can't.
I have all default repos enabled + RPMFusion. Fedora 14. This is what I get;

# yum install gtk-aurora-engine
Loaded plugins: langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit
Adding en_US to language list
Setting up Install Process
No package gtk-aurora-engine available.

Logo Debian+KDE icon (Kickoff)

I'm not sure why this icon has low score, but I did notice that if you vote up for something here it will be counted as vote down. They need to fix it.

Anyway, it's a nice icon. Good work. Voted up. - Oct 08 2010

Great work! And you are very nice cause you do on request :)

So I would like to see one with Debian logo and one with Metallica. I'll leave it to your imagination!

Cheers! - Sep 26 2010
Elegant Gnome Pack

OK, everything went fine this time.

I did saw that it have to be the "latest" version of murrine, but I had to try the Debian way first.

One more question, you have option to configure GDM2 but in Debian testing there is GDM3. Will that work?

Thanks for the response!

It's a great theme. - Sep 23 2010
Elegant Gnome Pack

I'm using Debian testing and I did the installation from source. Everything went fine but at the end this was an error;

[CODE]
root@HONOR:/home/blackshadow/Downloads/elegant-gnome-0.9.0# make cache
sh -c "/usr/share/gnome-menus/update-gnome-menus-cache /usr/share/applications/ > /usr/share/applications/desktop.en_US.UTF-8.cache"
sh: /usr/share/gnome-menus/update-gnome-menus-cache: not found
make: *** [cache] Error 127
root@HONOR:/home/blackshadow/Downloads/elegant-gnome-0.9.0#
[CODE]

I did go to Applications/Accessories/Elegant GNOME, the theme was installed but the colors were not applied. I had basic blue/white color scheme. Also I did install Droid fonts but my previous fonts were not changed. Mouse pointer was the same. I have murrine engine installed and I did log out/in.

I'm not using Nautilus Elementary, maybe that's one of the reasons why installation didn't go well? Is it really necessary to have N.E.?

Another question, would adding the repo you've provided be a good option, since I'm using Debian?

I did not read all the comments, there are too many, so I don't know if this was answered already. All in all the theme looks good and I gave you my vote. - Sep 23 2010
