sysctl -w kernel.unprivileged_userns_clone=1
y funciono, no se que hace, solo lo busque en internet.
It worked for me, I'm on Debian, I didn't need an appimage, but I prefer it that way, the same with debian I had a problem with the users theme that wouldn't let me use it, so I put:
sysctl -w kernel.unprivileged_userns_clone=1
