Hi all, are there any plans to port KMyMoney to KDE 4? Any roadmap? Or not currently planned... - Nov 02 2008

I can confirm to have the same problem. I am using the SVN version (Rev. 141) and installed with the default cmake ., make, make install sequence under Gentoo.

The other issue I have is that Firefox 3 Beta 5 will not close correctly. It is not a Firefox bug, see - Apr 24 2008

Thanks for the quick reply, another question: is it possible to configure a 4-konsole grid session in such a way, that each konsole would execute a different command on startup? I have 4 scripts to login to 4 different servers and start a screen session on each one, and it would be great to be able to do all that with a single click. - Mar 12 2008
Is there a key binding to switch between terminals when using four terminals in grid view? - Mar 12 2008

Sorry for the big delay! Here you have the output: - Mar 05 2008
So the status messages format that I set is this: '$artist - $title [amaroK]'

After applying your patch, the output in /tmp/AmarokPidgin.log is:

Some track changes were manual, by means of skip track, for others I waited until the song changed by itself after it was over. - Feb 27 2008
It does change. The problem is that the variables $title and $artist in the script are not replaced with the appropriate strings, the intercommunication does work. It must be a python thing... - Feb 27 2008
Anything else I could try...? - Feb 27 2008
Thanks for the reply! For each song change I only get a horizontal line in the logfile (/tmp/AmarokPidgin.log) - Feb 18 2008
The command line dcop works:
$ dcop amarok player artist

I am using the script in both KDE 3.5 and KDE 4.0 with Amarok 1.4.8. In KDE 3.5 it works, as expected, in KDE 4.0 however the variables don't get substituted. Other than that, the script does communicate with Pidgin, for example if I set "$artist - $title [amaroK]' as status, I get ' - [amaroK]' in Pidgin. Any thoughts on how to solve that? - Feb 14 2008
