my themes are using the tag (like @selected_bg_color )system on the css file, instead using Hex color( #0087F9) for every line. so the problem here is that in the gnome control center there is a file called "night-light.css" (and the css files in the app are priority). the pros on using @tag system is the theme will react to wharever you put on the @define-color tag. the cons on putting hex valor is the theme will no react and bugs may appear... - Apr 08 2021

hi :) i've been working on this theme for a while now. and i decided to make it easy to have a lot of variants (color schemes)
old designs have mutated to other themes you should check it out :) i think marwaita is finished now. i am working on updating the cym and the osx version and then will be focusing on other themes. - Sep 13 2020

the old one is just papirus with a few icons modified.
I don't like the style of papirus, with this icon pack i want the looks of the original icons but more colorful, simple kinda mac os, i dont want to make it super flat or too complex...its like real life objects, paper is flat (like the folders icons) a calculator has more details (like the icon) thats the "philosophy" on this project, but niether is gonna to be a diferent icon set... i hope you understand :) - Jul 17 2020

im working on adding new icons and i fix the index.theme. you can add papirus icons on "inherits=" section on the index.theme

marwaita uses "black" symbolic icons for light themes but uses "white" symbolic icons for themes with dark panels.
marwaita light uses black symbolic icons for light themes with light panels.
marwaita dark uses white symbolic icons for dark themes with dark panels :) - Sep 19 2019
