As a long time Opera user (since Opera 4), i have been waiting for a native open source opera-like browser for Qt for a long time. Thank you for starting this up! Keep the great work.

Thanks for developing this usefull app.
Currently i'm using wicd deamon and knemo to show me the useful info. Now if only wicd-client-kde had the option to customize the tooltip info (gateway, network, boardcast address, ...) i would probably using it. An interface trafic statistics would be great too (bytes received/send).

"Incidentally these two backends (plus a Phonon backend) can be enabled in Clementine if you compile it yourself. Look for the options in ccmake or cmake-gui."
Thanks for the tip. I didn't know that.
"I'm curious as to why you dislike GStreamer so much. Is there any reason other than the gnome dependencies - ie. is the audio quality worse?"
Maybe it's because i'm not used to Gstreamer. I don't see the need to install it. My perception of Gstreamer is this: a bloated software. Gstreamer base is 13Mb. Then there's the gstreamer-good, gstreamer-bad, gstreamer-ugly (??), etc..
So, my dislike for gsteamer is by no means technical. Anyway, keep the great work. I hope kde4 task tooltips and embebed cover support will be added. Something like juk does. In fact, that's the only reasons for keeping using juk.

Aldouth i don't agree the PCiupak attitude, i'm really sad to see that Clementine is now using gstreamer.
First i have to thank the Clementine authors hard work, because i'm a software developer myself and i know it's hard to make some quality software and sometimes difficult to make some development choices. That said, i wouldn't choose gstreamer as backend. I would choose something like xine, mplayer or even vlc.
I can only hope the devs make it possible in the future. - May 26 2010

Thank you for reviving amarok 1.4! Keep the great work. The only two things i miss are the cover display and "sort items by album" first, instead of by artist.
For now i will keep using Juk, but i'll keep this project on my watch list :)

Thank you for this wonderful enhancement to KDE4.
It is people like you that make KDE what it is: the world's most advanced platform (not desktop environment anymore (: )
Now, i only have a suggestion: Is it possible to make shadows arround the music previews (something like the picture previews)?

My goal with this was to bring the Ciment folders to KDE4. I will probably not add more stuff to this, but you are free to share and remix this work.

Thank you for developing this great app. It's very nice when we only want to play one music and don't what to open your media manager (like amarok ir juk) Finally i can leave xmms!

Thank you for using it. My first attempt was to create a plasma theme that the bottom panel looked like this but the top panel looked like the MacOSX top bar. Unfortunatly i had to drop that idea because the tasks of the bottom panel have a transparent backgound on mouse hover/selected but the tasks of the top bar would have a different background (blue, for example). Unfortunatly plasma can't do that (maybe the KDE4.3 will allow it).
Until then, i will probably add support for a flat dock bar on top, left and right positions.

Great Pasmoid! I loved the lights effect and the "Expand tasks" option. Keep the great work.
- Feb 26 2009
Just a small note: i expect the systray icons to resize in the future because the systray is a plasmoid. If you place it on the desktop and not on the panel those icons shoud resize (like the tasks plasmoid). On KDE 4.2 they don't resize. So i suppose this is a bug.
- Mar 09 2009
I think the kde 4.2 systray icons are non-resizeable but i hope they will resize in kde 4.3. So you probably should keep your idea until the 4.3 release :)

"Actually, I think the "pics" dir is the standard place for such icons."
I dont know if it's the standard. What i know is there are apps that use the /pics and others that use the /icons.
"You can override icon themes by dropping your icons in $KDEHOME/share/apps/knemo/pics. I know because it works for me ;-)"
Of course you can :)
But if you put the icons (lets say 22x22 icons) on /pics, you will get a 22x22 icons only. That means that if you what a 16x16 or 32x32 systray icons, they look ugly.
Now, if you put the 16x16 icons on /icons/oxygen/22x22/actions/, the 22x22 icons on icons/oxygen/16x16/actions, etc, they will look good, no mather the eight of the systray.
There's other think: if you make an icon pack for kde4 and want to overwrite the knemo icons, you just have to place the new look icons on $HOME/.kde4/share/icons/[icon_theme]/[SizexSize]/actions. Now if the knemo icons are on /pics, you can't overwrite those icons when using a new icon theme.
Anyway, good job on porting KNemo. :)

Correction: it's not /usr/share/apps/knemo/actions but /usr/share/apps/knemo/icons/oxygen/22x22/actions
- Mar 02 2009
Thanks for the port. I was really sad when HagbardCeline said that he wouldn't port KNemo to KDE4.
Now, if i may suggest one thing, would be great to place the KNemo monitor icons in /usr/share/apps/knemo/actions (like the previous versions) instead of /usr/share/apps/knemo/pics. This is because on the /pics directory i can't replace those icons when making a new icon theme (ie, the icons on $HOME/.kde4/share/icons/[icon_theme] don't overwrite the /pics icons).
Thanks again.

Bespin is a great style. Unfortunately, it's KDE4 only. Since i don't use KDE4 (it's not stable enough for me) and i never tried Bespin, it's hard to make an Opera skin.

Great work and thanks for continuing to improve QtCurve!
I am using QtCurve for years and i love it. The only thing that made me watch over Gnome with some envy was it great default theme (ClearLooks Modern). Now, thanks to you, i can say that KDE can look great too.
Again, thanks for the hard work!
