Hi, thanks for fixing the compilation issue, it works now. If i want to create a custum cross word, it crashes. here the output:

Hi,

today i downloaded and installed the latest version of your plasmoid for archlinux. unfortunately, i get a crash when i use the journey function.

after typing in the journey, i get a list and then after some seconds it crashes.

i also have a crash report, but it seems not to be useful.

cheers

thanks! so no graphical glitches, just a stupid user :) - Jul 27 2009
the second line in this screenshot needs more space to the bottom. like on the top.

see these screenshots:

if you need more, i am pleased to help you!

thanks for the nice improvements!

filtering is working very well! finally i can look for journeys from my home stop (postauto) to any other place!

you really rock!

cheers

felix

ps: i only have some minor graphical glitches, if you want i can make a screenshot. also the popup appears slowly, dont know if this is a plasma problem. - Jul 27 2009
for the postauto:

from frauenfeld there are several postautos departing and also from chur. - Jul 20 2009
again, to test the filtering in a good way you could use the "big" cities in switzerland. if you type winterthur you see immediatly that filtering a trolley bus is really useful. - Jul 20 2009

thanks:)

you fixed it very quickly! nice work.

trolley buses:

bern, wylerfeld

zürich, besenrainstrasse

zürich, nordstrasse

metro:

lausanne

postauto:

basadingen, unterdorf

concise, église

feuerthalen, lindenbuck

the postauto stops want work with the plasmoid but if you search on the website and make a journey like:

basadingen, unterdorf --> winterthur

you wil see that there is a journey available.

if you need something more just ask.

this plasmoid improved a lot. really great work. I like the new style, it looks beautiful and also the functionality improved a lot.

although, i have a few questions or improvements. i only use sbb.ch so my comments below only concern sbb.ch:

- autocompletion doenst work for me. i dont know why. in other versions i had no problems

- the buses from the postauto (maybe you have a look on the website) aren't displayed. the postauto is a regional bus system.

- could you add some more filters? i am missing a filter for the metro in Lausanne (it is written M m1 and M m2). Maybe they are called metro. This filter could (maybe) also be useful for France. And also a filter for trolley buses (electric buses). They are displayed as Tro.

- the journey function doesnt work for me.

the idea behind this journey function is very cool. Just click on the icon and then the applet is swichting. really nice. like this i can have a list and a journey search inside one applet. thanks a lot.

- Jul 19 2009
Yeah!

It works very nice now!

cheers

felix - Jun 18 2009
thanks!

I will test it. - Jun 18 2009
with the new function no pick up the stop from a list (which is by the way very nice!), there is a confusion between city and stop.

have a look a the image.

http://imagebin.ca/view/K26quaWI.html

the city is Zurich

and the stop is Buhnstrasse

but the plasmoid puts it in the wrong fields.

thanks a lot for adding sbb.ch, thats really cool!

hi,

thats a nice and useful plasmoid.

unfortunately i am not from germany, but, since it was possible to add db.de, it could also be possible to add support for www.sbb.ch. That is the Swiss Railway Service.

Thanks a lot.

Cheers

Hi,

I like your plasmoid and it works flawlessly.

Would it be possible to have a similar look & feel like the Public Transport Plasmoid?

It would be nice to have more spacing between the events and to make the events clickable. If you click on a event, it will show you the details like location and so on.

What do you think about that?

Also a menu (like the journey search) would be great to create new events.

Thanks for your great!

Cheers

have a look at the knowledge base.

the question about the activity indicators maybe is the solution for your problem. - Oct 12 2009
indeed, i need the work path entry. i thought it would be possible to implement this launcher settings.

sorry that i wasnt clear. what i need is just the work path to launch wine applications with daisy.

thanks and best regards,

For WINE just pass the flag for the path in the command.

@lechio you wrote that in another comment. but i dont understand what hte flag for the path is.

could you explain this to me?

thanks for question/answer for the activity indicator, now it works perfect.

best regards

i would love this features!!! - May 18 2009
thanks a lot.

now i still need the alias for openoffice maybe someone knows it?

another problem: i have to set the work path for some wine apps. But it isnt possible. If dont set the work path i cant start this apps with daisy. Thats a pity.

Could you implement this option?

The plasma icons have this option already. Maybe this can help you.

greetings

felix - May 16 2009
thanks.

and how can i figure out which alias i have to use?

for example: openoffice, inkscape and so on?

the other problem i will check later on. - May 16 2009
Hi,

very cool plasmoid. It is beautiful and useful! Thanks a lot.

I have to questions:

the activity indicator doesnt work for firefox, openoffice and the konsole. Dont know if its a problem with my system or if it is just not supported yet. I use the version 0.0.4.3.

and another problem, if i disable the option: show tooltips on launchers, the next time I restart kde the option is checked again.

anyway, thanks a lot.

greetings

for the Real Academia Española:

engines << "Real Academia Española" << "http://buscon.rae.es/draeI/SrvltConsulta?TIPO_BUS=3&LEMA=%s";

What i have to write for the ñ to display correctly?

like the html entity: ñ - Aug 23 2009
like this the French dictionary to look for synonymes works:

engines << "CNRS synonymes" << "http://www.crisco.unicaen.fr/cgi-bin/trouvebis2?requete=%s"; - Aug 23 2009
yeah, the syntax is really easy. for wortschatz leipzig it didnt work because the search is just:

http://wortschatz.uni-leipzig.de/abfrage

i dont know how to s% into this url.

one the french sites is already working.

i didnt restart plasma maybe that is the reason for the crash.

can you leave me your email? than i'll send you the backtrace. if i post it here, it is too long. - Aug 23 2009
very nice work!

although i had a plasma crash, the plasmoid works flawlessly.

the crash wasnt reproducible, but if you want i can send you the backtrace or post the backtrace here.

the different search engines are working very well.

here some more good sites:

German:

English:

French:

http://www.granddictionnaire.com/btml/fra/r_motclef/index1024_1.asp

Spanish:

http://www.rae.es/rae.html

http://dix.osola.com/

i will look into the code, maybe i can add this sites by my own.

thanks,

i will check it out and tell you how it works!

unfortunately, i am no qt guru... - Aug 22 2009
nice to hear that you appreciate my ideas.

iate is a very good site for specific translations, so it would be very useful for my daily work if you could add this one.

if i can help you in some way it would be a pleasure for me.

cheers,

felix - Aug 19 2009
thanks for this plasmoid!

what are you future plans for this plasmoid?

some ideas:

- a popup search and a list of the resutls inside the plasmoid

- a dataengine with other dictionnaries like pons.de, http://iate.europa.eu etc.

the icon is very nice!

keep up the good work,

cheers

hi,

i am looking for a front end like this one where i can include online dictonaries like leo and others but also commercial dictionaries like langenscheidt, collins, robert etc.

i am no programer, so i dont know what is possible or not.

but do you think that it is possible to include other commercial dictionnaries and also the world wide web?

and an other wish: i would love kydpdict-like front end to be a plasmoid...

thank you for your work
