Hi, sorry for being late in replying you... Well, I'm not on the intention to make a only-dark-variant for now, because it would imply to treat the GTK2 theme... in a future, maybe. But this theme can be totally modified, it's free. :-) - Sep 02 2018
Hello. It's super-easy, just change the defined color for "theme_selected_bg_color", on GTK3's gtk-contained.css and gtk-contained-dark.css, and also on GTK2's gtkrc. - Aug 26 2018

On GTK2, go to line 112. There's a "roundness" property, so changing its value to "0" will be the trick. Also, change the roundness to "0", on line 340. - Jun 18 2018
Thanks for the appreciation!
Responding to the questions:

1 · Try changing the sidebar's border-right (and border-left) to "none" [gtk-contained.css : Lines 4193, 4196].
2 · Buttons' roundness is defined in line 573 [gtk-contained.css]. To combine the roundness also on text entries, combo buttons, etc., search in the CSS file for every "border-radius: 5px", "border-top-left-radius: 5px", "border-bottom-left-radius: 5px", "border-top-right-radius: 5px", "border-bottom-right-radius: 5px", and change the value to 0px (if you really want the square form).

Also, don't forget to make the changes to "gtk-contained-dark.css". - Jun 17 2018

Hey, wassup... So, there's the option to move these controls to the left in Gnome Tweaks, right on the "Windows" section. It will be the last option ("positioning"). - Jun 06 2018
