You have to set the position by yourself, conky doesn't support "dynamic" position.
Well, editing ~/.conky/conkyPlayer.template for the player
and .conkyrc in photo widget a string like this:
${image <source> -s widthxheight -p x,y} - Sep 18 2009
I think this could be possible. :D
But can you help with this request? if you have arealdy some working config/script can you send me? I'm relly bussy those days and i don't use gmusic... :( - Sep 17 2009
to display images in conky you must have the last conky (1.7.1+) with imlib2 lib... it's not so hard to install or find a package for your distro.
If you use ubuntu karmic, go to a terminal and type: sudo aptitude install conky-all.
If jaunty, just download this file and install: https://launchpad.net/~norsetto/+archive/ppa/+files/conky-all_1.7.2-0ubuntu1~jaunty2_i386.deb

What is the problem that you have? can you post here the options you choosed? - Sep 17 2009

About the battery problem. I can't test it by myself because I don't have a notebook, so, any help is very welcome. But, you can try powerbattery.py script in conky folder and see if works.

Well, you could try to change the sleep time to 40/50/60 in the startupconky.sh in ~/.scripts folder. - Jun 30 2009
Not necessarily, I checked in the Internet before to see what values would be more "common" that works with most computers and I came to this conclusion. - Jun 29 2009
Thanks :D - Jun 29 2009
Try that:
Type "sensors" in terminal

Just duplicate this line: " ${voffset 4}${color0}${font Weather:size=15}y${font}${color}${voffset -2} Temperatura: ${font Liberation Sans:style=Bold:size=8}${color1}${execi 120 hddtemp /dev/sda -n --unit=C}°C${color}${font}${alignr}/dev/sda
" in your .conkyrc and change the /dev/sda with other device, like /dev/sdb, /dev/sdc... - Jun 17 2009
Fixed now! :) - Jun 17 2009
That would be great and i want to create a .deb too :D. The problem is that i just don't know how. There are many scripts involved and changes in the code to make it work.
If someone how know how to do that, I appreciate.
Greetings - Jun 17 2009
--unit=F for Fahrenheit or --unit=C for Celius

I will check this lunar monitor :D - Jun 17 2009
Well, this problem happens to me when i use the conky 1.7.1.1 from getdeb. Everything is normal when using the default in jaunty (1.6.1).
I have to check what change from this version to other :(
If someone know the reason, please tell us :) - Jun 17 2009
In changelog I put some information:
New --unit=(C|F) option
Removed -i option
I removed the i, --imperial and replace with --unit=(C|F). Because now there is a hdtemp monitor and you can choose to use C° or Fº units in all conky. :) You can check out the help(-h, --help)...
About the moon state, well, can you paste here the link? - Jun 17 2009
can you type here the options you choosed? So I can test here too... - Jun 16 2009
check out the help, some things change. Try that:
