BTW: When I leave the fullscreen mode the image is still shown in the size/zoom used in fullscreen - IMHO it should revert to normal non-zoomed size. - Apr 05 2013
If it is a replacement: is it possible to add the leave entry?
Is it possible to add "Switch user"? - Mar 31 2013

Is the searchbox meant to be on a separate page or is that a similar problem?
BTW: it would be helpful if the configuration for the icon size would show a tooltip with the size. By now you have to adjust the size "blind". And it would also help to find the icon sizes in which the icons are available so that you don't get blurry icons. - Nov 06 2012
And I don't want to delete the debian menu, I just want to hide it in takeoff. It makes some sense (more or less) in a menu with submenus - but not in takeoff which doesn't show submenus. - Nov 06 2012
But how do I navigate? When a tab contains a lot of icons I cannot reach them, I'd need to scroll but that's not possible. Natural for me would be to use the scrollwheel but that does not work. In some screenshots I saw a bar at the bottom with page numbers I guess but I don't have that bar.
When I hit any key (even cursor keys or page up/down) the menu switches to the search box. Is it a feature or but and is it a feature that the search box is on a separate page?
Is there a way to make the menu smaller than the screen? It doesn't matter if I tick "fullscreen" or not, it is always fullscreen and always looks the same.
I compiled it on Debian Sid 64bit in case that matters...
And two wishlist entries ;)
How about an option to hide certain tabs? E.g. would like to hide the Debian menu.
And how about an option to have tab bar at the bottom? Would feel more "natural" for me because it is nearer to the point where the mouse is when you start the menu.

But why do I have to hold the CTRL-key to make the widget bigger? Shouldn't this "just work" with the size button as other widgets do? - Oct 19 2012

Do you also have this cute wallpaper in 1920x1200? - Oct 19 2012
BTW: I have to set the font to 29 (DajaVu Sans Mono) so that the letters exactely fit into the plasmoid (no matter which size it has). 30 leads to cut letters and below 29 leads to some blank space inside the plasmoid. In the latter case alas the text is not centered (which would give a nice blank frame around it), instead the text sits fixed in the left upper corner. - Sep 25 2012
For mounting in a fixed directory (which must exist):
Exec=kdesu -c 'mount -o loop -t iso9660 %f /mnt/iso'
and for umounting:
Exec=kdesu -c 'umount %f'
This works but does not give any feedback.
I tried to append ; dolphin /mnt/iso to the mount command and ; kdialog --passivepopup "Unmounted!" to the unmount command (and both variants with && instead of the semicolon) but in all cases I then don't get any password dialog and the actions fail. - Sep 25 2012

It was no problem while the text was black but now with white it really is hard to read. If the lineedit background would be a little darker it would be better.
BTW: Do you still have the last version that had the background image in kickoff? It looked very sleek but you updated too fast so I couldn't save it. - Sep 04 2012
I admit I don't see any other change in 1.9.3 (compared to 1.9.2) than the slightly other color shading. But the one from 1.9.2 looks more interesting and fresh so I'll keep that.
Could you maybe make the linedit.svgz a little darker? It's a bit hard to read the white text on the light blue. Or is it possible to use a darker font for the lineedit fields?
And how about some slightly light blue systemtray icons so that they match the arrow for the hidden entries?

Some questions though:
(How) Is it possible to theme the clock widget?
(How) Is it possible to enlarge the size of the desktop and panel icons? I can enlarge the panel but the icons in it stay tiny.
Is there a weather widget like e.g. CWP (Plasma)?
And a picture frame?
Does the desktop/panel support QML-Widgets?
The menu button allows to add some text - alas there doesn't seem to be enough space for it. When I choose text the menu button is only half visible and so is the text. Or does it need some extra tweaking in some configuration file to widen the space?
The desktop context menu and the menu via the menu button should be the same in look and content IMHO? Where the look of the context menu is the prefered (wider, better visible, Qt theme by default). - Sep 03 2012
The goal here is to start kmetronome with autoplay. So I created the command "kmetronome && qdbus net.sourceforge.kmetronome-24638 /kmetronome/MainWindow_1 net.sourceforge.kmetronome.play" - but this only works with the current session because of the PID related dbus commands.
Is there a way to use dbus for kmetronome independent from the current session? - Aug 11 2012
Is it possible to use bigger icons for the toolbar (32x32) and maybe to use icons from the current icon theme of the desktop environment? - Aug 11 2012
