For Kubuntu you don't need this. Just install "libreoffice-kde" which contains these templates. In 10.04 the icons appear ok, but in 11.04 seems to be an error. The icons have got different names. If you delete the number "3" in the "/usr/template/soffice.odX.desktop"-files the icons will be back.

Since the installation I get an error message everytime I right click on an image "...kim_compressanresize.desktop hat einen ungültigen Menü-Eintrag WebThumb70120".

I changed the [Destop Entry] Actions = ...WebThumb70120 to WebThumb75120
