Please, can someone give me an advice how to convert an avi into a DVD with this application? I every time got a huge audio synchronization problem. At the begining the audio is in sync but with every couple minutes it's getting worse.
And I don't talk about a few seconds - After an hour the audio is many seconds (if not minutes) out of sync.
I've no clue what I do wrong here :( - Jun 26 2009

Is the project dead?
This would be a real pity because KDE (or linux itself) is in need of a great, user friendly and stable FTP client. I hoped that your kftpgrabber will do this job. But now its very silent about this project :(
It seems that a great FTP program is a real pain to code because all FTP projects are dead/buggy/not useable or something else.

Hmm, I must overlooked this option yesterday, sorry. With this option turned on the list can display more than 20 ppls. Thanks!
But you got it: Hideing the photos would be nice if you display all infos in one row because it looks a bit disordered this way. And maybe another order would be nice. At first the status-symbol and then the nick. Or you have to align the symbols on the right edge (like the photos are currently aligned). However, I'm sure you know how it looks the best :)

Very nice App!
But hey, how many contats do you have?
Well, my list shows round about 20 ppls online (an average amount) and thus I'm searching for an option to simply show the name and the online status (the flower symbol) of a person in the list in ONE row. 20 pixels is the minumum I could set as the high per row which is simply to huge! Hopefully you can do a tiny version or something else :)

Your karamba-theme is nice, but if I try to use it, I just get the kontactlist with empty nicks [1]. Maybe this is an internationalization-problem? Just one nick appear in my list. Don't know where the problem is, ehe :)

My first install goes to "--prefix /usr/kde/3.5". I don't know if you used absolute path names instead of relative. But my second install goes to "--prefix /usr" and with this configuration it workes. Maybe this explains the problem? Don't know. Only you can confirm this ;) Regards - Oct 02 2005

I had the same problem. Just try to compile and install it a second time. It worked for me. Don't know why, but neptune3k said, that an image-Button wasn't there where it should be. Try to compile it a second time. and maybe avoid to change the --prefix to something other than /usr. My first install goes to "--prefix /usr/kde/3.5". This was the install which fails. After that, I tried "--prefix /usr" and from there it workes! Just a thought... Regards - Oct 02 2005

ahhh, great. Thats cool :)
but it only opens by pressing the '2' key not the '²' although it was configured for that key..

Hey, what's about this project? knowit is the best programm I know to simply save Ideas, Concepts or any other things in one place. Good to manage entries, add links or attachments etc...
But finally I miss some features like quicknotes, encryption, xml, attachments (not only links to local files), maybe an integration in other applications and so on...
Is this project still in development?

same here... I use gentoo and kde 3.4.2 But nothing happens after selecting a word. I tried different dictionaries, but it won't do the job. No errors nor other informations to locate the problem.

LOL... during I typed this message, I pressed the ctrl-Key and selected a word and *plong* the popup appears (after a few seconds)... Maybe I oversight that I have to press a hot-Key, but now it works ;) Great!

Keep going on with your work. Just fine program!

you need to compile the msn plugin at first before you can use it. If I remember correct, the tar-File already contains the msn plugin. So you have to download it, unpack it, go into the licq-1.3.0/plugins/msn directory and ./configure && make and "make install" afterwards as root - Jun 03 2005

you can add the channels manually by pressing 'E' while xawtv is running. Then you can press the 'arrow-up/arrow-down' keys for switching over the cahnels while the 'channel-Field' is active (hover it with your mouse or click into it). Add one or two channels for testing purposes with the 'add' button after pointing a channel-name into the 'station-id' field.

The sound problem:
Maybe your mixer isn't set correctly? Some TV-Cards uses line-in of your TV-Card to handle the sound. you have to enable this mixer - Apr 30 2005

I've some problems with your app:

1. $HOME/.xawtvrc doesn't exists. Instead I've a $HOME/.xawtv
a link from .xawtv to .xawtvrc did the job

2. My channels from xawtv are imported into you app, but without any channel oder frequency information.

3. setting the channel manually won't work. I alway get that same channel with your program.

It semms, that '/usr/X11R6/bin/v4lctl setprogram E2 && /usr/bin/mencoder [...]' did't do the job for my tv-card?
Since I have my own vcr commandline tool working for my tv-card, I can say, that 'mencoder tv:// -tv driver=v4l2:channel=E2[...]' works for me. I don't know the difference... but maybe you know where the problem is.

Just one question: Isn't it possible to remember the settings for the 'log and queue'-panel on the bottom? I like to see the queue status and have to open it every time I start kftpgrabber and click the 'overlap' button. It would be great, if kftpgrabber can remember this settings

Looks great!
Since I'm using the Plastik theme for my KDE and the Plastig Theme for GTK have a few problems, I likely want to try your theme.
But if I want to switch to your theme with gtk-theme-switcher, I get the following error:

hm, your program work fine. It automaticly find my wireless card! But, I'm successfully connected to my accesspoint but kwirelessmonitor tell me, that there's no signal...
