The screenlet does not remember when i unlicked the "Keep Above" checkbox.
It works, but then when i log out and back in it forgets.

this a bug, or am i missing something?

How do i install themes/skins?
I downloaded one from the website, but I cant figure out how to get it to work. Tried putting it in ~/.screenlets/perfectclock/themes
but it did not work. - Jun 15 2008

Thanks :)

Well, the update does make it nicer.
To bad about resize, but that is ok :) - Apr 21 2008
Installed great :)

Please allow custom sizes for width and height, and custom text sizes.
You do this, and you are my hero :D - Apr 19 2008
1. The new version of the screenlet does not work. It does not run. The old one ran fine. The only thing is, the screenlet manager does not recognize it as a screenlet in either version. (installed by putting in ~/.screenlets)

2. When you get everything straitened out, it would be cool if you would allow custom sizes. I mean like if i want it to be width 300 and height 50. Technically this should work. I tried to edit the code, but i dont know python and i broke it ;), so i will leave it to you.

If these two things get straightened out, i can assure you i will use this screenlet :) - Apr 17 2008

Please allow me to define custom sizes.
I want the width to be 200px, and the height to be 250px. - Feb 26 2008

I tried this, i put in
screenlets.Screenlet.__init__(self, is_widget=False, width=200, height=250, uses_theme=False, **keyword_args)
and it worked great. Of course, it would be a good idea to put this into the options ;) - Feb 13 2008

My suggestion would be have custom sizes for the screenelts.
Like have a width and height box where you can put in numbers.
Like, if i want a 200x500 terminal screenlet, i just put 200 into the width and 500 into the height. - Feb 13 2008
Thats great. This is starting to look like a super high quality screenlet :D - Feb 11 2008
I was just going to suggest this.
What i did to get this was:
open

~/.screenlets/Terminal/TerminalScreenlet.py

with a text editor.
Change this line:

self.vbox.set_border_width(10)

to

self.vbox.set_border_width(0)

Personaly i used 1, as i like a border but not a huge one ;) Looks a bit weird with my tiny terminal lol

It would be cool if you made this easy to do in the screenlet options, and also make it so you can change border color? - Feb 10 2008
Thanks :D
It is great. I love it!

The only improvement i could suggest would be to make it so you could put in width and length values, so i could make it tall and skinny if i wanted, etcetera. But the scaling option makes it usable for me, so im not going to be complaining ;) - Feb 10 2008
I was waiting for someone to make one of these :)

I just have one request:
Make it so you can resize the screenlet.
I dont know how hard this would be to do, but it would make it so i actually use it.
At this point, im not going to use it because it is to large. The "scale" option does nothing :(

If you get this to work, you are amazing :D - Feb 10 2008
