i guess i would clean it up a bit.

inserting the code to /etc/profile or ~/.profile would slow down my system boot up or login respectably, so i think i'll avoid it.

I've came to really relay on this custom .bashrc, for me it's one the best things ever been downloaded from this site.

10x again for all the hard work, bet it took ages to compile this one. - Nov 19 2010
not sure from which version exactly but at some point terminal becomes really slow loading all .bashrc file content, on my atom cpu it takes about 20 secs to open a new tab in gnome-terminal.

any suggestions? - Nov 19 2010
no doubt the comprehensive basrc file I've ever used.

top notch!!!

and i'll send u the version that compile under kde < 3.5. - Apr 30 2006
:( Sorry, i didn't clone any thing from AKWA nor from decgen, i started deKorator from the howto posted on this site.

about your other comment we all thought about colab, and it certainly not an ego issue, just that every dev has his own timeline and approach of doing things, hence look at the post above.

- Mar 23 2006
well i simply can do that, you are thinking of situations when the mask would be symmetric , but there are lot of situations when you don't want it to be like that, think of when you have like 3 buttons on the right side and you want to make some nice wave mask on the right corner, but not a simple symmetric wave which you can tile but one with little curve which grown bigger on all over the buttons, so how would you tile it if it's not symmetric, that's why i use different static mask, so in case the user change the buttons position the wave would not be destroyed. - Mar 23 2006
well i dont think i got u, what do u mean pixmaps holds masks? how should i know which part of the pixmap is a user mask?

any way as told u before, i'm not coding any thing special till i'll see what u'll come up with Detenate and decide if it's worth it, i allready did some experiments with deKorator for the styles as well with dcop calls and such and i must say that it's working pretty fast, even faster then a lot of styles i saw in here, but any how i'll wait for your work and then i'll see.

reduplicating stuff over and over again makes me MAD

oops, = 3.5... - Mar 18 2006
i've mailed u a fixed version,
should compile on both = 3.5. - Mar 18 2006
so it's time to upgrade... - Mar 17 2006
ammm not 100% sure i've understand, but i think u were refearing to the hue adjustment colorizing method, what it will do is it will colored just colors that are not black or white and in between, am i making any sence or i've completly lost u? :)

anyhow ALL colors are fallowing the kde colors settings u've choose in kcontrol color module. - Feb 27 2006
Done, 10x:) - Feb 26 2006
not my server, sorry:( - Feb 26 2006
just colorize buttons, any way how would u prefer to see it? - Feb 25 2006
constructive comments are more then welcome :) - Feb 25 2006
sorry don't really understand what are you talking about , are you talking about the buttons bg left and right, well if so think of them as part of the deco not the button, use which ever graphic you want to on the button, left and right buttons bg are part of the deco, anyway a screenshot would be helpfull..

about the mask again it's a problem because of the dynamic nature of kde buttons can be added removed moved from side to side it's not like windows which allways have one button at the left side and three on the right one, any way what would you do in this kind of mask:
how would you tile it on all over the button, it's not simetric as you can see, masks should be static... - Feb 24 2006
ammm it's kind of a problem cause it would really slows things up, but i don't really understand what do you mean by have to guess, from what i can see in the screenshots there shouldn't be any problem of making those masks though a little bit of gimping skills would be quiet helpfull in this situations. - Feb 24 2006
"kwin --replace&" is your friend :) - Feb 23 2006
yep he's the man:), ammm bet you got some older kde version, wheel mouse event introduced with 3.5, if it's so important i can send you the one without the wheel events, i would update the tarball transparently but a lot of distro's using the orig source to compare with the one they are keeping on their repo's so it'll make problems, any way glad it works:), wonder how the global themes works on suse, maybe loki can comment about it... - Feb 23 2006

would u want to do something like that, when your work had all ready been merged to kerry?????
dont u guys get tired of reduplicating the same things over and over again? as if kde is perfect allready and no contribution can be added!

any way i voted good just because it's really good peace of code, though i don't really see the need of it... - Mar 10 2006
