This is a great little App, but potential users should be aware that third-party notifiers like this are a violation of the Gmail Terms of Service, so they could (though doubtful they will) kick you and destroy your gmail account for using them. - Sep 07 2004

I'm suffering the same problem- Skippy correctly displays all the windows, but clicking on various windows simply sets the desktop back with the same window focus as before.

The last updated version was a little over two months ago (just checked the CVS to make sure).

Anyone know what happened?

Did David get sidetracked by other work? Is work still ongoing?

I LOVE this project, but there is still much that could be done to improve it (it's a pity I can barely program a shell script.. someday). - Apr 20 2004

Just wanted to post-- I use KPlayer for all my Linux video needs. It's a great frontend for mplayer, and I want to thank you for making it. - Apr 19 2004

Just set up the new version-- works great!

Thanks again for your work on this. - Jan 06 2004
Thanks for this script-work! It's very good, and now with ThinGeramik and this, Evolution fits nearly seemlessly into my KDE desktop.

A few icons seem unchanged, though.

On the calendar interface, the Back and Forward arrows, the Go To Arrow/dot, and the "Today" button (the really ugly house) seem unchanged.

Thanks again to doing this! - Dec 29 2003

This looks like a great improvement...

Unfortunately, it seems to have a dependency on an older version of zlib1g than I have installed on my debian system. It wants 1.1.2.* and I have 1.1.4.*.

Any way to get around that? - Dec 14 2003

Interesting.. the scrollbar color wasn't carrying over when I was logged into root, which is when I noticed.

But on a normal user account, ThinGeramik picks up the scrollbar color just fine.

*shrugs* - Dec 08 2003
My "Widget Colors" selection in kcontrol doesn't have a "scrollbar" entry... should it?

I set the custom scrollbar color from the "ThinKeramik" customization dialog, with "Use custom scrollbar colors" on the "Custom Colors" tab.

Thanks for the help, and great work on these themes! - Dec 02 2003
I love ThinKeramik-- It's made my Debian system look great (thanks for the DEB of it, btw).

But my gtk applications still look odd. I have this theme installed and running.

But the scrollbars are still the default orange.

I use #97ADC3 for my scrollbar color, it's a pleasing blue-grey.

Is there a way I can get my gtk applications to use this scrollbar color as well?

Thanks! - Nov 23 2003
