The problem is that we will need different ways to find an installed JRE, check all the requirements and launch the java application, one for win and other for linux.
But like I said before, when we have the linux version "stable/finished" we will think to to port it to win. - Nov 22 2005
I think thats possible, I've hadded that to the todo list.

Thank you for your suggestion.

We use some "linux only" code, so it will be difficult to port to other OS, but when we have the linux version like we want (with some other features that we are working on), maybe we will think to port it to win (we cannot do anything for mac since we do not have access to any mac).

First of all I wanna thank you for your sugestions.
About other languages, we are working on that and in a few days it will be translated to english, then we will post a file in the j2bin home site so everyone is wellcome to help translate it to other languages.
We are also working on a couple new options and changing the j2bin generator to an easy-to-use wizzard type.

You need to install lm-sensors to be able to read motherboard's info (temps, fans rpm, voltages, etc).
After you install lm-sensors package you need to configure it (it's allmost automatic) opening konsole and type:

- su (to use commands as root, you need root password)

- sensors-detect (to try to auto-detect yours mobo sensors)

it will ask you a few questions but you can just press enter so it will assume all the defaults. After that and as a normal user type: sensors (and you should see temps, voltages, etc.
That's it.

To use superkaramba themes like this, you must change (in the .theme file) the "name" of the sensor to the used by your mobo, e.g. in some mobos cpu temp is named "temp1" in others like the one I have it's named "CPU Temp", etc...

Hope it help! - Oct 27 2005

Hi,
this "script" doesn't mount the flashdisk, it does the oposite, eject it using the kio_media_mounthelper command. You just need to copy one file to the KDE service menus dir.

Like guerrier said, some types of usb sticks doesn't work with the eject command , others need to be umounted and ejected, to change it just edit the flashdisk_eject.desktop script file, look to the last line and change the -e option to -u for unmount or -s to unmount and eject. - Oct 01 2005
I'm running KDE 3.4.2 "Level a" in SuSE 9.3 64-bit and it doesn't have it and I saw a lot of people that doesn't have that option too. - Oct 01 2005
