I dont know. I think that the majority of ppl who complain forget or dont know that if it wasn't for the porn business on the internet the internet they all enjoy today would be much different and much less advanced and main stream. Just my 2 cents. - May 26 2005
Im curious about that word prOn. Im also curious just how sure you are about using that word.
Believe it or not it is in the Dictionary as follows:

pron.
abbr.

1. pronoun.
2. pronounced.
3. pronunciation.

Now that you've seen this are you sure thats the word you want to use.

I'm sure you probably meant something more along the lines of Porn which is defined as:

porn

n : creative activity (writing or pictures or films etc.) of no literary or artistic value other than to stimulate sexual desire

Well based on that I would have to agree. This really has no artistic value and I would have to guess that although it may not give any straight guy a woody it is sure to stimulate something... unless you're gay... Then it doesn't really matter at that point. :)

Thanks for the comments As all comments are welcome and I value everyone right to have thier own opinion. - May 21 2005

There are places for people with that kind of mental disfunction. If you can't afford it I sure our tax dollars will help you. Whatever you decide to do please make it a priority to seek mental help. Perhaps you have a free clinic in your area where you can talk to someone about this.

:)

Don't take the above too seriously. Looks good for what it is. Don't know who would want to use it being that most Linux people get sick at the sight of anything Microsoft. :)

both files are in the servicemenus folder. I have other service menus that work normally. When the konsole opens there is no text. Thew only thing there is a solid block cursor. I waited several seconds upto 30 and nothing happens. - May 18 2005
For some reason it still doesn't work.
I gave it execute right and when i right click it does show up in the actions menu but for some reason it opens a konsole and does nothing. - May 17 2005
The errors pop-up when i right click on anything, a file, the desktop doesn't matter if i right click i get an error. Removing this backup as zip i no longer get any errors when i right click. Im using Kubuntu 5.04 Hoary Distro with KDE 3.4 - May 12 2005
The Code is not in English. Please use english.

I also get an Error. /../servicemenus/backup_als_zip.desktop has an invalid menu entry.

It then repeats error about 4 or 5 times.

I assume its because its not in english. - May 10 2005

These are really coming along nicely. My only suggestion is to quit teasing us bby releasing 2 or 3 icons at a time. I'd rather wait a couple weeks and see maybe a whole section (application, devices, etc) released at a time. I would probably take Nuvola icon-theme as a guide since it is really the most complete icon-set out there that i have seen.

Keep up the good work. Like I said it is really coming along Nicely. I wish I could help but unfortunately Stick figures are beyond me :) - May 17 2005

That work-a-round did the trick. the only Locale I care about is English since that is what i speak. Is it possible to have Sunday be at the beginning of the week instead of at the end? If so How.

Thanks for your help. - May 16 2005
here is the shell output. I hope you or someone else can help get it to work:

I give the command superkaramba xalendar:

call to initWidget failed
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "xalendar.py", line 47, in initWidget
locale.setlocale(locale.LC_ALL, getLocale(widget))
File "/usr/lib/python2.4/locale.py", line 381, in setlocale
return _setlocale(category, locale)
locale.Error: unsupported locale setting

I then go to configure and select English:
New language en_US was selected!

Then I try to reload the theme and get:
Call to initWidget failed
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "xalendar.py", line 47, in initWidget
locale.setlocale(locale.LC_ALL, getLocale(widget))

Show installed files shows you the installed files while the info option shows you the status and the contents of the paackage. If you have a broken package the two would obviously be different. I must admit though I haven't had much use for the 'show installed files' as of yet. - May 11 2005
Having used the original Debian menu this is based off of I think this could be better. You should be adding features not removing them.

In order for the Changelog option and the 'show installed files' to work you need to also have the debianservicemenu.sh file in the same directory.

So far I haven't experienced any problems with this using kubuntu as you have stated. - May 11 2005

This KDM Theme just Rocks!!! It has got to be one of the BEST kdm themes i have seen to date.

now for my suggestions:
I would like to see the bottom bar lower just a little bit. Maybe have the bottom of the current bar be the top of the new location. Think That would be nice IMHO anyways. I really Dig this KDM theme Though.

Also Think it would be super-kewl if there were a choice of 'icons' besides the penguin.

This really rocks though.
