how do I configure it and make it connect.

I know that i have a server on 192.168.0.110 and port 80 has the remote control interface if I enter 192.168.0.110 in my firefox

but when I put that configuration in this plasmoid it does nothing. there should be a button "apply" or "connect" and a status of connection should be given - Nov 27 2014

Hey, i'd be nice to have the photos of my friends from flickr displayed - or family as an option - or even mine photos
because as you know there's a possibility to tag your contacts as "friends and/or family"
so 5 options for pics source would be nice

i love thos icons but some of the ones in Kmenu are very blury - for example block session, end session, games, education, office, kopete , utility . The colors are not intensive enough and they lack sharpness. - Aug 11 2007

I have 2 networks in my range. One regular WEP encrypted in Managed mode and another laptop with Ad-Hoc mode with WEP in ASCII.
Wireless Assistant doesnt' list ad-hoc WEP network that commend 'awlist ath0 scan' shows. - Dec 04 2006

I have a simple network - one computer has DSL connection to internet and it shares it with Wifi in Ad-Hoc mode.
It's passord protected with ASCII. In SUSE 10.1 I can't get knetwork manager to connect to it althou from command line it's as simple as

iwconfig ath0 mode Ad-Hoc
iwconfig ath0 key restricted s:*****

i think that amarok has matured a lot. i remember i always liked the interface but constant freezes forced me to write "killall amarokapp" several times a day as I listen to mp3 all the time.
Now with those 1.4.x versions it has become a lot more stable.

Changing songs is a bit slow - so maybe this should be improved so when You have to find a song among 15 in the list just by listening to the first sounds You don't get frustrated.
