I've added an option to auto-accept SSL certificates...I know It's NOT a SECURE option, but those dilogs are very annoying. So, waiting for a better solution:

I had the same problem: the cause was the option to show also non-removable devices, which is enabled by default.
I managed to disable this option (even if plasma was so sloooooow... ;-) ) and everything went ok. - Dec 17 2009

With your plasmoid I get only audio and no video. However, Dolphin's mini player for video preview works properly:

Adding Device Manager to desktop makes plasma freeze. Launching it with plasmoidviewer makes plasmoidviewer stop working (I have only a blank window). I'm running openSUSE 11.1 64bit with KDE 4.3.1. - Sep 17 2009
