Just a question: How do you manage SVG images? Qt does not offer full SVG support (it only support SVG tiny, AFAIK), with things like text on paths and complex gradients not working. Are you using, or planing to use Qt webkit or Qt-WebEngine to display SVG images?

The rpm cannot be installed on openSUSE 13.1, rpm -Uvh complains with a "XFree86 is needed for ComixCursors-0.8.2-1.noarch": openSUSE uses xorg since ages.
The tar.bz2 package installs without a problem from KDE's control center, but cursors are available only for one user.

+1 from me.

I have wine configured to simulate a desktop, and when your theme is used, the desktop background colour is the same that the app colour so it is not easy to distinguish where the app ends and where the desktop begins:

I answer to myself: yes, it is possible. As far as I can see, the only problem with checkinstall and cmake is that the former do not pick the right package info so it suggest a wrong name and version number. For example, it suggested "Build" as name instead of Crystal and "20110625" as package version instead of 2.1.0... but all that info can be changed without problems from checkintall itself (the program ask if you want to change anything). The resulting rpm (with the right info) works without problems, replacing the system rpm without conflicts.
I'm using tabs now... :) - Jun 25 2011
By adding libkde4-devel cmake now goes on without errors, but make ends with a "fatal error": kdecoration.h do not exists.
I'll try to ask on a openSUSE board were that file is.
Thanks again - Jun 25 2011

openSUSE is still on 2.0.5... :(
On a side question: is it possible, once cmake goes on, to use checkinstall to create a rpm? There was a time when checkinstall had problems with cmake.

I have no problem with any other server/site/whatever: ping responds without problems on any site BUT limitland. I don't think the problem is on my side... I'll keep investigating. - Oct 25 2010

Then I copied the direct link (http://www.limitland.de/comixcursors/ComixCursors-0.7.1-1.noarch.rpm) and used it with kget: no luck either.
I downloaded previous versions (and other kde-look content: just tried) without problems.
I'm downloading from Italy. Is there no other address to try? - Oct 25 2010

I have some ftp sites in my bookmarks that I often use on konqueror. Rekonq cannot use them, which is ok for me (rekonq is a browser, not an "everything to anyone app" like konqueror). Problem is: when I click on the bookmark (or any link to a ftp site) rekonq gives an "Unknown error" instead of opening the site with a proper app (like konqueror).
Adding an option to such cases will be great.
Otherwise, great browser! Many thanks for your work! - Nov 06 2009

The "problem" is that rekonq cannot see my konqueror bookmarks. How can I instruct rekonq to use them?

In fact, changing the volume through DCOP doesn't work. Ok, I can live with that...
I found the files for the battery status on /sys/class/power_supply/BAT1/, and the battery monitor is working now.
About the kde4 port... This morning I did a test on the live cd for openSUSE 11 rc1, with kde 4.0.4. Unless some huge changes comes on the next two weeks, I think that I'll stay with fedora 8 for a couple of months more...
Thanks again!!!! - Jun 07 2008
Just a couple of questions:
- On the KOSD configuration you can set the "step" for the volume, but seems that this is not working: with the keyboard controls, volume jumps on 9% steps and with the mouse wheel over kmix the volume jumps on 5% steps, no matter if I set 2% on KOSD.
- The battery display is not working. KOSD points to files that doesn't exists on my system (fedora 8, 64 bits) to get the battery status, and I'm not quite sure where to look to find the right ones.
- It is highly probable that after the release of openSUSE 11 I'll switch to kde 4. Can I use KOSD there? If not, there will be a port to kde 4 soon?
Many, many thanks for your great work!! - Jun 06 2008
The "Mixer device" option under Behavior gives me only one option: HDA Intel (I'm running everything on a laptop Toshiba Satellite)
I must admit that I have some troubles with the sound card, specially for recording, so maybe is my problem. Any idea?
