Its not the best and it doesn't have all the buttons in your mockup, but its cool and fast and does the purpose that you want. - Jun 21 2005

Maybe u might be having a /opt/kde3/share/apps/kapptemplate/admin/
folder ? My suse box has a folder fir kdelibs. kapptemplate should be more generic ... Could you just confirm - Aug 28 2004
First u need to remove the directory admin in the source tree. After that, well just copy paste the whole path exactly like i have written it starting from $(... ie, u should be doin a "cp $(kde-config --prefix)/share/apps/kdelibs/admin ." inside the src tree. - Aug 28 2004
Could you try replacing the admin folder with $(kde-config --prefix)/share/apps/kdelibs/admin - Aug 27 2004
Hmm, i know its too much to ask for a theme, but can u try replacing the admin folder with the one that with ur distro?
Within the theme folder, do a rm -r admin & copy admin from kde-config --prefix/share/apps/kdelibs/admin.Doing a make -f Makefile.cvs after that should clear things up.
I guess the problem is that using a SuSE admin messes up things in other distros.
Well u will need the development packages (kdelibs3-devel in my case) - Jul 08 2004
Have you tried make -f Makefile.cvs before configure? - Jul 08 2004

Actually i was trying to clean up a lot insideliquid and make it more conformant like other widget engines. I have done a bit but the transparency part of liquid is totally f****ed up. Does anyone have any good tut about how actually this works? i checked out plastik and keramik, but transparency looks like magic there ... - Apr 21 2004

Well initially kmix did not have alsa support. But now, with alsa support within kmix, is this project relevant. I had tried kamix earlier, but kmix has quite too many features - like configurable shortcuts for each slider.
I guess its time both the projects merged together - Feb 10 2004

Hi there i had posted the message asking for SuSE packages. I can give you an example spec file that doesnt restart the compile process. Or maybe if you could give me the spec file that you used, i could give you the changed file that should work. - Feb 10 2004
I hope suse comes out with the rpms quickly as i dont want to go the hassle of compiling it myself. - Feb 06 2004

Well have u installed kdelibs ? The new window manager doesnt seem to like karamba/superkaramba. The thing is these modules seem to use fake transparency to merge with the desktop. In kde 3.2 upon loading it obeys these rules, but on top if you start a new application, tmon etc. appears on top of these ... - Feb 04 2004

But there is one small yet big thing missing here .... While viewing an image i cannot scroll tho an image up and down with the keyboard. I still have to drag the image with the mouse... The least that you could do is add what the app is about here ....As it is, a lot of people wont even bother to see what your app is about ....

Well thanks for the information. Anyway i have downloaded taglib and also i have downloaded the rc1 of kde 3.2. juk has started workin now. - Jan 22 2004
I have been trying kde 3.2 from beta1 and had been frustrated when the SuSE rpms keep on asking for taglib. I had tried on rpmseek and rpmfind without success. I guess this entry should have been in place long ago. - Jan 22 2004

well i guess thats a problem with qtpixmap .... just close the app and then run it again ... atleast it workd for me .
on second thoughts maybe u might not have installed qtpixmap ... if thats the case then just search on this site for it
- Nov 28 2003
Well i have been trying this theme for some time .... here a few bugs that could have been avoided ...
1) There are a few hard cored links to /usr/share/themes ... this could have been replaced to links to within the folder cos for one, i use suse where the themes dir is /opt/gnome/share/themes.
2) the font rendering is not that smooth .... also qtpixmap complains of a lot of theme files missing cos of which my gimp refuses to start..
All these apart - Good Work again man. - Nov 22 2003
This is a lot more like consistency. Now i guess liquid users like me can also have what keramik users have been enjoying for a long time.
Good work man. - Nov 21 2003
