Hello

Nice theme. What font are you using, and what are your font settings. The look really good in the screen shots. - Apr 02 2011

Hello

You need to comment out these lines in your customize.sh script. If you don't, you can only change one thing, because if you change another, the copy blows away the first change:

if [ $ICONSDIR = "/usr/share/icons/AwOken" ];then
cp -dpRf $ICONSDIR "$HOME/.icons"
fi

The recover.sh script always calls the customize.sh script with /usr/share/icons/AwOken.

Awesome icons set. - Oct 14 2010
Awesome, thanks. That works. Can't wait for the Docky icon. - Jul 06 2010
This is as close to a perfect icon theme as you can get. I have only found one icon missing, and that is an icon for docky. Would it be possible for you to add one?

Also, could you make a system lock icon that was plain gray as opposed to blue?

Thanks - Jul 04 2010

So let me get this straight. You are angry because one Linux distro has become "too popular" and your stand is to pick a different distro that you like, say that your work is only for that version, and then taunt those who disagree with your point of view? You know that pretty much every distribution of Linux has it's strengths and flaws, right? That's the reason so many people hop from version to version.

All I want to know is, how did you find the time to make an icon set while ruling North Korea? - Jun 16 2010

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04. Did you restart nautilus completely? You have to run nautilus -q from the command line and then nautilus ~ before the change will take effect I think. - Sep 02 2009
Found the issue. GtkPaned::handle_size is set to 0. It should probably be set to something like 5. - Sep 02 2009
Which handler is it? I would like to play around to see if I can fix. - Sep 01 2009
Also, the GDM theme needs to add .xml to the end of the greeter entry. - Sep 01 2009
It doesn't look like I have anything in between the side panel and the main panel. No dots at all. Would you mind if I sent you a screen shot of the problem? - Sep 01 2009
First off, I love the theme. So far I have only encountered one problem. There is no handle bar between the nautilus side pane and the file/directory pane. I can resize the panes, but nothing is being drawn there. Whereabouts can I start to look to see how to fix this problem.

Hello

If you have the time, would it be possible for you to come up with a representation of a CPU, Memory Stick, and Network card? Your icon's look amazing in gDesklet apps and I would like to use them in some of the monitors I have.

Thanks - Mar 01 2007
Thank you very much. I don't speak German, but icons are the international language of cool. Keep up the great work. I am looking forward to a complete theme from you. - Feb 06 2007
Love the icons. If you get a chance can you make a downloads folder icon, and maybe a source code folder icon?

Thanks - Feb 05 2007

It would appear that the clock doesn't like AIXGL. If you use that as a renderer then you get a grey box instead of the clock. This happens with Beryl. - Feb 26 2007

Thanks, this has been fixed. Great work. - Aug 03 2006
Thank you. It's the only thing that I can find wrong. Other than that I love this engine. - Jul 26 2006
Didn't seem to help. The problem appears to be with progress bars that are moving. Thunderbird tries to do a animation with the progress bar. It's during that animation that the bleeding occurs. The gtk-qt-engine used to have a similar problem but it was fixed in the latest release. - Jul 26 2006
Hello

Your GTK2 version seems to have the same progress bar bleeding issue as the gtk-qt-engine. If you open up thunderbird and send an email, you can see the issue.

I like the above picture. It's great for a wallpaper. I looked through your other stuff. The pictures aren't bad. It's the fact that I wouldn't use them as a wallpaper. I don't like wallpaper that "hides" the icons. I like wallpaper the accentuates the icon. This picture for example does a very good job of doing that.

Take the rating for what it's worth. The picture may not suck as a picture, but rather as a wallpaper. - Aug 03 2006

I get both sides of this argument. On the one hand you have the people who say that everything in KDE should be imaginative, inventive and original. On the other hand you have the people who want a standard look and feel, with all of the other options that Linux offers. I'm on the fence. I tend to gravitate towards themes that are original, but I understand why a theme such as this deserves merit. If for no other reason, it prooves that Linux can be just as usable as Windows, thereby adding to the argument the Linux is better than Windows. Try and skin windows to use a KDE theme. - Aug 02 2006

First off let me say thanks for this. I use Eclipse a lot so this engine is great. I've been using the Domino theme lately, and it has a small problems. The tops and bottoms of the scrollbar are screwed up. It looks like it can't find a pixmap, or something along those lines. Any idea how to fix that? - Jul 22 2006

Love the theme. I think it's one of the best I have ever seen. The only issue I have is that the scrollbars look funny in GTK apps. Any idea how to fix that? It almost looks like it can't find the pixmaps to go at the ends of the scrollbar.

I unzipped it in to my KBFX themes directory, set up the path to it in the configuration applications and then choose the theme, however it doesn't seem to load. This is on fedora core 5. I'm using KBFX 0.4.9.1.

I built and installed 0.8, but it only allowed me to set a theme once. After that it uses the default theme and the ability to set a theme disappears. This is on Fedora Core 5. Any ideas? - Apr 10 2006
