I got it very light-grey using intensity-blending with a light-grey (I love KDEs desktop-settings!)

I like it
Minor nitpicks: IMVHO the 'X' should be in the correct font; if you could find a way to let tux look more 'engraved', that'll add a lot to the overall appearence of your work!

If I could ignore his pictures, as I ignore his postings, keeping the peace would be easy, I assume.

You can't argue with them, because they don't want to understand your position, they want you to take theirs.

I assume that most people here reacting harshly to this self-proclaimed prophet try hard to hold back, but just have to express their anger once in a while; you see the comments of this kind pile up under every of his pictures, while the names change from thread to thread with the "old faces" back every now and then.

If the site-owner would allow to filter out contributors to treat them as the trolls they are, this war wouldn't be near, and the hard-core christians could give one another blowjobs on there religious hard-ons in a little, ignored corner; everbody could be happy.

Do you believe there is/ or isn't a god?

I'm sorry, but that's none of your business and not the matter at hand.

what proof or lack of do you have to support your claim?

Belief and proof are mutualy exclusive, if I can proof it, I don't have to believe it, I'd know ... and vice versa.

The matter at hand is, that tim denies me and my wife the right to be responsible for our child and it's creation, because *god* made it inside my wifes womb (that would make god a rapist, wouldn't it?!)

If it were for people like him, π would still be considered to equal 3.0

It is left as an excercise to the reader to find the part in the bible that states this (π=3, that is ;-)

As I think that you are indeed another incarnation of tim in this forum, and that he showed in the thread belonging to the other upload of this picture in a different size, that he is a troll (I doubt his christianity, too), I'll ingore you and him, that is, you ;-) forthwith and for the foreseeable future; HAND - Nov 19 2003

I think that Tomte is questioning some of his previous beliefs on when life begins.

No, I don't :-)

My angriness has nothing to do with my fear of tim beeing an ant-abortionist, just the fact, that the wonder of life is to him another proof of gods existence, and that he has to "yell it in my eyes" ;), while I think it isn't, and don't want to hear about his belief, especially not spoiling an image that could be my child (wow, that sounds sick, but hey I "tolerated" a dozen of tims sh!t§y wallpapers, this one just hit a nerve and I had to let go not to burst) - Nov 18 2003

As a 'soon to be a father', with a child in a womb, much like the one on that picture: Shame on you!

You (IMHO) are an as$§e using everthing possible as a vehicle for your personal belief.

I kept my mouth shut on your previous work, but this one is personal; keep your belief for yourself, I don't want to hear about it, I don't want to share it, I don't want to read about it in a place devoted to art for my desktop of choice. Shut the F*#% UP! please. - Nov 17 2003

This is a very cool theme, me thinks !

I'd be glad to see you finish it.

I'd be even more so, if you could provide a version with a drop-shadow!

the first message is written /before/ the widget is displayed.
Anything that writes cvs-server date to the console-widget should show the behaviour.
If it doesn't, well, then my machine is broken :-)

And, yes, the mousepointer /is/ horrible (as is the whole programm in its current state, without context-menus and the like, but it's promising :-)

if I change engine="pixmap" to "qtpixmap"
The bug seems to lie there, and, for that matter, doesn't occur if there are no pixmaps....(wrong pixmap_path revealed that *blush*)

Nope, I will...

Unfortunatly, I can't
Is your Mandrake based on gcc-3.2? Then you should be able to run the snapshot of the 1.1 version (conveniently tgz packaged :-)

gcvs-1.0beta5 goes nuts if it has to display text in the console-output-area, it takes up all available cpu-cycles and needs nearly a second per text-line, this works fine with other gtk-themes.
I wonder if this is a gcvs bug, or are there similar problems in other apps?
