Hy. I uninstalled the plasmoid, and installed the old 0.4.2 from source. It works flawlessly with the gmail too. But 4.3 and 4.4 are not. (If anybody has got problem like me, the 4.2 will solve the problem.) - May 19 2010

Thanks, I will wait for the fix. Anyway, it is very interesting, that the source of the problem is the Gmail again and again. I always read on the net, that "Gmail is the best", etc. but at other mail provider, no problem like at Gmail. (But this is my only provider with SSL) - May 18 2010

Hy! The problem "Error: Read error error:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_get_object:too long" are back again. With my Gmail account, I get this message. If I click on "check now" button, there are a mysterious window flash (dont know, what kind of window, or what is its message, just a flash) and this message again. I uninstalled my version (0.4.2) and installed the 0.4.3. And thats again. I installed then the 0.4.4. And again the error. Before the system update, there was not be this problem. Or just some old remained conf file creates the problem??? Or what? - May 15 2010

Thanks. So, I just can wait until google solve this problem?...Hm..It sounds like that SMTP problem some time ago. If my memories are correct, that case about the certificates, too, but then the exp. date was incorrect.

So, I will wait then, and I will tell this story to my other friends (who uses your godd program. Anyway, nice work, keep it up!!! ;) ), and thanks again the fast reply.

Hy! I have a problem with this plasmoid.
It started about one or two days ago. When the plasmoid check my gmail account, the certificate accept dialog pop ups again, and again. Not at all, but in the most cases. I click on yes, but sooner or later, it happening again. I uninstalled the plasmoid, and rebuilt it from source, but no effect, the problem is the same. What would I do? - May 01 2010

This is a KDE 4 Splash screen, not a bootspalsh, usplash, xsplash screen!

You can install this at:

System settings->Apeearance->Splash (if I remeber correctly, because I use the system in hungarian language until nowadays :D )

Thanks! That quote, that you mentioned, are well known, but that line in the login (and in the splash) are not well known, but I liked much more.
