Yep¡ I added the ppa, and what i did to solved this was to remove it, and to have transparencies i installed the gnome color chooser and in the machines menu i select murrine for global settings - Dec 15 2010
Hey¡ first of all, i want to congratulate you¡ you have done an excellent work here. Now, my trouble, i installed win2-7 with no problems, the problem came when i wanted to activate the RGBA to have the transparencies in the windows, so i installed it but when i did this, i wa unable to watch videos in youtube using firefox, this doesn't happen when i use chrome, the trouble is that firefox is much better than chrome, so any idea of what is wrong here??? - Dec 13 2010
Same problem HERE¡¡ - Nov 10 2010
Another bug, as i told you the guiinstall hasn't been giving errors so i decided to install win2-7 manually, when i run this script in the terminal i got the next error ./Breadcrumb_Changer.sh:line 74 pronagme=zenity;: Order not found
the it closes - Sep 02 2010
lightzero@lightzero:~/.emerald$ ls
default settings.ini theme theme.old themes
- Sep 02 2010
This are the errors found in the Guiuninstall

./GUIUninstall.sh: línea 1276: error sintáctico cerca del elemento inesperado `)'
./GUIUninstall.sh: línea 1276: `) | zenity --width="400" --progress --title="$UNINSTALL_ZENITY_PROGRESS_TEXT2" --text="" --percentage=0 --auto-close --pulsate'

And these in the GUIInsatall

it also doesn't recognize my internet connexion, i remember that i installed some securities issues from the ubuntu actualizations today before installing the win2-7 5.9

- Sep 01 2010
And another trouble here the guinstall doesn't install the murrine themes since 5.8, i had to install theme manually the same happens with the murrine engine and at the end of the installation when i go to preferences its tell me that the current theme can't show properly because the progname=zenity; RGBA=on, is no installed, i don't know if i messed it by myself doing wrong actualizations or installation since win2-7 5.5

Just cant wait the final release, mm hope your girlfriend is ok by this time (and your wallet) anyway...
The work you both have done is absolutely awesome¡¡¡ I think no one in all gnome art has done a work like yours
Talking about the 5.2 release hope you can also make a space for the murrine machine to get the transparencies¡¡¡ - May 14 2010

Hey i think this guy "adamantis" has created the aero effect on ubuntu, althought the gtk instalation it's no so easy, it should help to give a definite step in the development of Win2-7 pack. you should give a look and see the possibility of incorporating it to the project

mm sourceforge is good for hosting but not for upgrading, the biggest diferences between sourceforge and launchpad is PPA, with PPA we will be able to get updates the same day you upgrade the win2-7 pack, in sourceforge if you upgrade the package nobody will know that, (exept for those who frecuently check your work) but with PPA just run the update manager and automatically we will get the update

imdano from ubuntu.es says
I've used both, and I prefer the Launchpad/bzr combo for a few reasons:

1) We like to use branches in our project a good amount, and svn/cvs are pretty terrible with branches compared to DVCS like bzr/git/hg. Launchpad also makes it possible for anyone with a Launchpad account to make their own private branch of your code, make changes, and then propose it for merging into the mainline release. I don't think anything like this is possible through Sourceforge.

2) With bzr you can use a local repository. So you can make a branch, commit some experimental changes, and then delete the whole branch if you decide its not going to work, all without it ever pushing anything to Launchpad.

3) Launchpad makes it very easy to link bugs to things like milestones, releases, and branches, which is really helpful for organization and identifying when and where things are getting fixed. The bug tracker itself is also a lot nicer.

4) Built-in translation support, though our project had set up our own system while we were still using Sourceforge that we kept.

5) I like Launchpad's look & feel a lot more.

The one nice thing I miss from SF is that they gave you webspace to use for setting up a site and hosting files/forums/whatever.

and eyeOS Blog says
the biggest problem we found was the need of having a user at Launchpad in order to report new bugs, which was a blocker for many users.

But i think the ppa worth it - May 06 2010

Almost gorget to mention¡¡¡
There are people already using ppa and launchpad for hosting and upgrading their icons like gnomenu, dockbarx, elementary art (who also desing gtk and icons themes)
surely you alredy know about it, in your scrip you suggest to update the gnomenu repositories so that is what i'm talking about¡¡¡ - May 06 2010
